He repented. But I guess people would have been happy if he had lamented and wept like a little girl throughout the movie.

He actually intentionally used to avoid and reject Tia's advances coz he was the one resposinble for her situation. Also he took them in, looked after them including the child who was another man's.

Just because he was not teary eyed and mouthing extra cheesy sentimental dialogues ( he still did though but not as much as Tum Bin guy lol) does not mean he was not felling guilty

Not his fault if Tia fell for him post her amnesia

If he truly repented, he should have been behind bars. He was the reason two people lost their lives.

Then we would not have a movie.

The film was telling a story. It is not a judicial documentary.

Had he murdered them instead of an involuntary mansluaghter, we could have discussed that.

He stopped pursuing her after the second or third rejection. She wasn’t married then. He left her alone until the fatal accident that thankfully killed off the third wheel so that my sexy man could take over. ☺️

I don’t even find Rampal sexy btw, so not me.

Yes he was very annoying about that but he repented all through the movie & was deeply unhappy & disturbed by his actions. The whole 2nd half of the movie was about that. It was a movie & the fact that he repented so much, was enough for that. 😆 And he didn’t “kill off her husband”, it was an accident.

(did you notice how I quoted your “in this economyyyy”? Brownie points for that ha)

IKR?! The most unrealistic bit about this film was exactly THIS!!! No way in any universe, would any woman leave such a loving & caring man who is yes, very handsome + wealthy!

I meannnn…. IN THIS ECONOMYYY?! 🤣😡

Not really if she fell in love with Priyanshu’s character first. The Arjun’s character could have been better than him in every aspect in the world. The point was she was already in love with someone else. In true love your brain shuts off in terms of developing romantic feelings for someone else. Well I guess that is not how it works in Bollywood.

Tum Bin was just a better-made film. To Mallika's point, Arjun's character was remorseful. But he would have been guilty of manslaughter if not cold-blooded murder. He was drinking and driving. That too after he had a sober driver with him in the form of his best friend who volunteered twice to drive for him. Beyond that, he would definitely have been convicted of stalking. I can't believe his father encouraged him initially. He should have told him off for it. Maybe that part is just progressing times. What seemed appropriate in 2003 is not just appropriate anymore. In Tum Bin even though it was a car accident. He literally had no choice. A little girl came in his way. It was going to be the little girl or the man that was the original fiance. And he was never stalking another man's fiance initially. He does not just help the family because of memory loss. No one knew he was the killer. Still, he helps the family's business start going again. He creates beautiful bonds with everyone. And he confesses he was responsible for the death of the man to his father. He even offers to turn himself in jail.

I agree though. No matter how good looking or rich you are, if a girl ain’t interested then she just ain’t interested, in real life, pursuing her like a love sick Devdas would creep her the f*ck out! Talking about the film, I was glad that her clown husband was killed off, I couldn’t see such a pretty woman with that idiot, Arjun was way hotter 😍
