Why Anupamaa never involved Police in her first marriage?

Anu is doing so much gyaan to Pakhi..but she herself never called police..

V has ousted her from house for coming late

V has mentally tortured her to the point she gets panic attacks.

V hasn't given her conjugal rights

V has hid her passport

Family accused her of loose character when she could come home

Baa has accused her mayyaka of stealing things and never let her go there .

Vanraj has done affair but she didn't complain , just used the threat for kavya to take back complay for Samar unruly behaviour..

Coz for Anupamaa Meeshter Shah is "achche pita", baa is badi and "bade Bhagwaan hote hain" and all the torture u mentioned above are "ghar ke chhote mote jhagde"....

She literally could have gotten the entire Shah property and every single penny in their collective bank accounts for the kind of abuse she faced, had she properly pursued legal route even during the divorce.

Don't forget Vanraj also attempted to have her declared as mentally unstable for the panic attacks she used to get because of him. That was a serious allegation and any self respecting woman would have left SH forever then and there. Sued Vanraj under attempt to defame her, squeezed out the Shahs for all they were worth and started a new life far away from them.

But this is Anupama and she has to be Mahaan every time so she continued to stay and serve the Shahs and became BFFs with a man who called her mentally retarded.

Apparently the message the makers want to give is that every woman should just brush mental abuse and gaslighting under the rug and just continue to be subservient to abusive in-laws&husband/ continue to keep relations with them post divorce

What annoys me more is the attitude of the fans of this show who give each and every kind justification no matter how lame it is to defend her..

Because they don't wanted to portray shah family in bad limelight if they did then anupama would. Be strong and lived peaceful life with Anuj and CA. They totally ruined anupama character and ww shah

When Pakhi did the same Badsalooki and threatened Adhik of suicide and Barkha filed an anticipatory complaint against Vanraj and Pakhi, Anupama lectured about ghar ke jhagde bahar laana etc.

Now, when Adhik is doing the same, she insists on involving police.

When her husband Anuj fell off the cliff and everyone including Vanraj confessed to possibly pushing him, she kept the police away and when Barkha insisted on attempt to murder, she kept her away from mere aur mere pati ki baat hain.

Any explanations?!
