I loved Rajesh's passionate argument with Samar on Wednesday's episode.

Rajesh felt genuine outrage about what Saru and Jaggu were doing to Kasturi. He wanted to go home and get money right away to set Kasturi free before her life was ruined. He didn't like Samar's viewpoint that this was an event to exploit.

Samar saw the danger to Kasturi as an easy opportunity to play hero with perfect timing. He told Rajesh to chill; keep the money ready and go to sleep.

Rajesh finished Samar's businesslike thoughts disapprovingly. He tried to remind Samar that Kasturi's sleepless night is damage that can't be undone, and he pleaded with Samar to think emotionally sometimes, before there are unintended consequences.

The writers are giving good material to supporting actors like Swapnil Ajgaonkar, who plays Rajesh. It's rather daring of them to allow the hero's friend to outshine the hero and shout at him.

Yes, Rajesh character is nice; he wants his boss to win but at the same time has empathy too. I watch the original version at times and I like the transition of Samar’s character with Rajesh playing a subtle role behind the change by putting sense without being preachy.

Pilu said that Saru is unable to sign her name, and Saru confirmed it by putting her thumbprint on the receipt.

Yet Saru handwrote the promissory note that Kasturi signed!

Has story writer and scriptwriter Sameer Joshi forgotten already? Or, is he unable to resist temptation to signal that the audience should jeer at the villain for being illiterate?

The forcible wedding scene failed to create suspense, what with Jaggu slowly, slowly moving to clasp the maṅgaḷasūtra around Kasturi's neck, only to stop as soon as he heard a voice. And repeat.

Samar should have more knowledge of the Hindu Marriage Act than to say that Kasturi would have become Jaggu's wife when the maṅgaḷasūtra was tied. No wedding ceremony is legally valid without consent, and Kasturi has indicated non-consent in front of witnesses. It doesn't matter if Jaggu ties the maṅgaḷasūtra or performs any other wedding ritual; the marriage won't be legal. Furthermore, while the Hindu Marriage Act doesn't rule out a wedding that is nothing more than tying a maṅgaḷasūtra, it requires that the wedding ceremony should be in accordance with the custom of either of the people getting married. Here, Saru has told the officiant to do other rituals after the maṅgaḷasūtra. That means one of two things. If the rituals include saptapadī, then the seventh step must be taken before the marriage is deemed valid. If there's no saptapadī, then any ritual being incomplete would suggest that the wedding wasn't properly solemnized.

Nilesh called Samar his God, and Samar told Nilesh, "Your place isn't at my feet; it's here, in my heart." I've heard that line from a husband to a wife in more than one wedding night scene.

After hugging Nilesh, Samar promised to look after Nilesh's people as his own family, as long as he lives.

And now finally kasturi knows nilesh didn’t sit for the exam.

Did Samar visit Kasturi's stall just to check if she's all right after narrowly escaping marriage to Jaggu? Samar's advice that Kasturi should voice whatever she's feeling, and he hopes she keeps smiling, might be genuine.

Maybe Samar's plan is that when Urmila leaks the photos of Samar with Gajendra Sabale, Samar will clean up his image by publicizing his rescue of Kasturi. But does Samar anticipate that Saru will team up with Gajendra? Is his intention to make Gajendra look guilty by association with Saru?

I don't think Samar knows that Nilesh's exam result is expected today, so he's not too worried about Kasturi on that account.

I think writers will continue to make us keep guessing whether Samar has soft corner for Kasturi. Also when she folded her hands to thank Samar for stopping her marriage, Samar folded his hands back and did not keep any eye contact due to guilty feelings. Nicely executed without uttering words.

I feel terrible for Nilesh! Kasturi and Yashavant see his remorse and they're telling him they don't want to hear any explanation because his mistake is too colossal to fix.

I understand that the Patkars are desperately poor and Kasturi made significant sacrifices for Nilesh's benefit. Poverty is a stressful circumstance that predisposes family members to lash out at one another. (The Patkars have an excuse that the Kubers don't have.) Nilesh's failure is devastating for Kasturi's plan to rise. Even so, I think that she should want to know what Nilesh is trying to tell her.

Yashavant at least came around and asked for the explanation, but he's also quick to tell Nilesh not to bother cooking dinner as a peace offering. That was cruel.

When they find out that Nilesh tried to rescue a woman from assault, they'll have to admit that they would have done the same. I hope it won't be too late for Nilesh, but Samar's remark that some soldiers will sacrifice their lives isn't encouraging.
