IMO if old movies r remade they should at least hold till the lead actor is active in movies. Devdas was made years after Dilip Kumar retired. Else a generation who saw only him as Devdas wouldn't have accepted another one.

While AB sr is still active and has a fanbase from great grandpa to grandkids. He is the original Don of movies.

RS is taking a risk with both AB and SRK very much active

It wasn't flop it was semi hit because it got affected by TDP wave btw i actually liked Don 2

No, Don 2 wasn't "a dud"...it was a hit (not a semi-hit, but a hit)...but if it suits your agenda, then believe whatever makes you feel fine...

Its not going to be a remake of previous don's, its going to be a new story and characters
