U know what I think..they are just trying to make sure Birlas don't change their mind back regarding custody ..they just want to assess ..also they might be wanting to establish fake good terms with them..her sympathy might seem genuine if writers had put in one percent effort with Mrs Sharma ..showing her dilemmas..some form of guilt..her fighting between love anger hurt guilt in her mind...she being less venomous with Abhi... showing some softness over period towards Abhi....then they could sell it this sympathy..like in Abhis case his painful expression for Sharmas on custody day seem real..his moral dilemma seemed real..that he was happy for himself and sad for Sharmas...but itni jaldi jaise palte hain Sharmas after showing them being selfish for months..I don't buy their concern at all..it seems fake to me
