He's getting a plethora of good work on OTT, his shows Asur, Kohrra are currently topping charts, and he's being individually praised by the harshest of critics like Rahul Desai and vadde people like Anurag Kashyap and KJo. He said numerous times that he didn't have BW dreams even before his debut, so that's bull. He even rejected big banner movies because his idea was to do good projects. That debut movie clearly looked nice on paper but unfortunately ended up being a debacle, and even then he was called the saving grace in reviews. But he followed up with good movies like THMS and Halahal afterwards.

People very conveniently twist the context in which he made the milk statement as a headline and say OmG DiSrEsPeCt To TV, when he was actually speaking about how the grueling working hours weren't convenient for his own personal health. As for IPK3, he did it because his contract lasted for a limited period of time. He had Tanhaiyan, THMS, Derma, and a webseries with Ekta even then. So no, he didn't do IPK3 because of "failure" - it had a nice premise but the makers massacred the story in trying to get more TRPs

Yes he had good comic timing in that show,as good as an actor of his skill level can have.

No idea about India, but there are aunties who go extreme, they might not check the body but ask about it from the bride or try to check out from head to toe.
