I used to love playing with bhavra (spinning tops).

Allow me to throw away humility for a while and do a little show off 😎 - I was able to do 'hath jaali' - meaning throw the top in the air, make it land on the palm of your hand, without even touching the ground, and of course keep it spinning all the while. It was only possible with the smaller bhavras

My brother was obsessed with this, he even broke his forehead while trying to catch it and spin it on his hand and got one or two stitches on his forehead!!

I know right, especially boys used to play and throw on any random ones in the class, once one boy threw it on a teacher in our class by mistake and then got chucked out from the class😆
