If something this big has happened, then his parents and Khushi would understand. That he wanted to call Anjali is still ambiguous but I remember reading a comment that Anjali’s character is pivotal in furthering and closing the distance between Arshi from here on. Plus, I am ruling out Anjali’s suicide since if that was the case, why would Arnav especially think that he cannot tell Khushi and his parents why he hates the place so much or how they will never understand.

My theory is something did happen with Anjali. Maybe she walked out on her family after they failed to support her and that is why Arnav was angry on his father for so many years. Remember Arnav’s mother said “He did Arnav wrong and cannot even leave his ego for his children he claims to love so much”. I mean Ratna says Arnav was ready to severe ties with them and Arvind would not have stopped him. It was Khushi who did not give up on both these stubborn men. Maybe she is missing, Khushi will find her and Arnav will realize just how much she had done for him all these years.

Also Anjali’s husband did come back after Kavya’s birth. He was absent minded not absent. Anjali clearly is a mystery that I can’t wait to unravel too!

Anjali and kavya are clearly pivotal. Arnav was very happy when he got the news of Anjali's delivery. till that time i doubt he was this phobic about having kids. At that time anyways they didnt have money and khushi was far too young but still i never got this notion that he didnt wanted kids

May be all of you are right and anjali is alive. Lets see when she makes the entry

May be one of the 'down the memory lane' will be for her. we know theer are 4 of these. 2 are done. one would be one of MaLa as they are joined at hips and the remaining one would be of Anjali. Only Arpita knows

So many judai wale songs are now centre’s around this ff for me now. I legit cry at them thinking of these two. Somehow the intensity has increased after Arnav’s chapter.

Yesterday ashiqui 2 album was on loop and I was not thinking of this story.

But then the line came “Har khata ki hoti hai koi na koi saza” and all I could think of was this Arnav 💔

the one reason i think why khushi doesnt relate the anjali kaand to his not wanting kids is because she doesnt know the whole story..Something has happened with anjali. though there is a reason for family fall out that everyone knows but there is still something hidden. Or they know the whole story but not necessarily relate arnav's fear of having kids to this incident

The 'Chotey always do the right thing' statement that arnav keeps hearing in his mind will play a major role here. 'Daya kuch to gadbad hai'

Also the first year of marriage had too much for them. Buaji also said that remember and now we have a flashback also of the train compartment, arnav was going somewhere. There innocent flashbacks just bleeds my heart everytime.

Also, just in 2006 he was struggling and by 2009 he already has money to produce film, i think after the incidents of 1st year of their marriage he got frenzy with money making. This could also mean that his food company started off well, but then we have flashbacks from 2011 where he says to khushi, that food dash is still not even half as successful as ARF.

He told manali too that he was poor so could never avenge the wrongs done to him, again related to incidents of 1st year of the marriage i guess and all this made him go crazy on earning money. I think he became this complex man after that.

I think the very first one you left is the reason everyone is so confident letting their emotions run. I was so late to the party. I read the comments later. I think it was after Khushi’s chapter. Till then everyone was like yeah it’s an amazing story and very sad. But you were probably the first one to REALLY own how much you felt and how much did it really affect you. I’m sure that was everyone’s state and after that comment I see a shift where everyone was comfortable saying this story has taken over their life ♥️

Not sure if that is the case or not but it made me happy.

Fun part is, that comment was actually my very first comment about any chapter in my personal history of reading ffs in IF. I was a mute reader, one of those who never even pressed a like, let alone comment.

Arpita made you do things i guess. I remember being soooo miserable and restless and finally decided that i need to let it go and just commented in a whim. Rest is history.
