Oh my god, it was really heart breaking in the end.

Through out the last part and a major r portion of this part, I kept trying to find it in myself to feel bad for Arnav. I couldn't. I couldn't decide how I felt about the last part that you had posted.

I realised it was not his cheating but more his treatment of his wife that irked me. I always had doubts about whether he could really have cheated on Khushi, or whether there was foul play involved.

Foul play it seems like. Still I coudnt bring myself to absolve Arnav of everything else

Up until the end.

Clearly the matter at hand is much bigger than what is seen by the naked eye. His issues probably arise from something that happened with his Di.

So we would probably have to wait fot that story

But Arpita, really... Wow. What story telling. Mind blowing, You have so intricately delved into his mind. You should actually consider taking this for publishing. It has all the elements of an interesting novel, a good read.

What do I comment? So much and so well is already written by my fellow readers that it will be just repetitive.

I said before that Khushi and Arnav stopped talking and working out their problems ie Arnav not wanting to have children while he thinks Khushi wanted one.(Not explaining why he did not have children)

.Even visiting his parents he did not realise what Khushi was trying to do.She was trying to bring together two stubborn men.Arnav assumed Khushi too was not happy and he stopped loving her (his reasoning) it was better to divorce.

Khushi was thinking to try and make the marriage work except she got a wedding anniversary gift which completely broke her .She believed he was having an affair with Lavanya She agreed to the divorce and fled to her parents to lick her wounds but she got no support from her parents.They wanted her to marry again and brought an allince from a widower SMJ.The same man who made her life hell during her college days.She only considered meeting him because he had a daughter but she finally said no to him.

She is back with Arnav in Mumbai but for her the marriage is over .He was having an affair with Lavanya and bringing her to their home and bed.Arnav has a lot to explain. Will Khushi understand what happened?

Initially I thought it could be related to people thinking she is infertile.

Now can it be Arnav’s high society party calling Khushi dehaati or gawaar behind her back.

I think it's about everything. In bhagwanpur and umanagar it is about child and here in mumbai is about what you assumed.

dunno re..i somehow feel Anjali is no longer alive..its this weird feeling i get. May be you and tashi are right and she is alive just unavailable and not in touch

the one reason i think why khushi doesnt relate the anjali kaand to his not wanting kids is because she doesnt know the whole story..Something has happened with anjali. though there is a reason for family fall out that everyone knows but there is still something hidden. Or they know the whole story but not necessarily relate arnav's fear of having kids to this incident

I think Anjali lost her child in some way. She was so emotionally attached to it that she went into severe depression. As Arnav mentioned her husband was not present or was careless so he might be catalyst or not present to help her or in a way responsible but somehow Anjali couldn't take that pressure. I think she committed suicide and hence this phobia of Arnav to get emotionally attached to a child. He might believe what if he also succumbs or he might blame that child for anjali's actions.

He mentions even anjali di did not choose him. he mentions he let her down, he couldnt help her etc. he might have asked their family to let her come home or to mumbai for change, they might not have agreed and hence the fall out with family too

Plus the Oct time when he goes to annual trips coincides with big puja at hometown. I think it might be Anjali's barsi. he makes sure he doesn't attend that. Hence Khushi never went with him on these trips. Even Akash alludes to it saying this time of year u are always vulnerable and hence Khushi will understand. That's why Khushi also wanted to stay behind this year. Thats why all those adrenaline fueled sports like bungee jumping to get a high so he can forget this time of the year

Reminds me of Arnav of IPK when he used to go away during his mom's birthday.

I guess all the root cause is with Anjali and her child

If something this big has happened, then his parents and Khushi would understand. That he wanted to call Anjali is still ambiguous but I remember reading a comment that Anjali’s character is pivotal in furthering and closing the distance between Arshi from here on. Plus, I am ruling out Anjali’s suicide since if that was the case, why would Arnav especially think that he cannot tell Khushi and his parents why he hates the place so much or how they will never understand.

My theory is something did happen with Anjali. Maybe she walked out on her family after they failed to support her and that is why Arnav was angry on his father for so many years. Remember Arnav’s mother said “He did Arnav wrong and cannot even leave his ego for his children he claims to love so much”. I mean Ratna says Arnav was ready to severe ties with them and Arvind would not have stopped him. It was Khushi who did not give up on both these stubborn men. Maybe she is missing, Khushi will find her and Arnav will realize just how much she had done for him all these years.

Also Anjali’s husband did come back after Kavya’s birth. He was absent minded not absent. Anjali clearly is a mystery that I can’t wait to unravel too!

thats the case with me too..any song i listen i relate to this story. though after these 2 parts the frequency has decreased. i hadnt realized it but previously i had this constant ache in my heart over Arnav's cheating. Now its slightly better
