This Green Flag ML is another reason of DT getting so much love bcz Fans Hardly get those types of Characters

Isi liye writers ko jyada careful rehna chahiye ek chhoti si mistake bhi Dhruv ke character ko aasman se jamin par patak sakti hai

Beyhadh 1 is often remembered as an epic serial because of Jennifer Winget's acting, but I wonder if it could've reached even greater heights with another ML.

Beyhadh 2 me shivin narang acting wise better tha expressionless tandon saab se 😆

Character consistency in writing is rarely ITV's strong point, especially for daily soaps.

Somewhere down the line, all ITV soaps seem to suffer from this, and more so with them stretched to 6-7 days a week. I used to be super frustrated, and then simply lowered my expectations 😊

Which is why I only laugh at online fan wars for characters- they're fighting for a fictional character that could simply do a 180 in a couple of episodes 🤪, and there's no point trying to defend a character that doesn't have consistency in his/her actions.

At this moment- it ticks a few important boxes for me (primarily among them non-toxic), and it helps that the forum has some amazing folks to discuss with, so I'll continue watching (mostly till the D-T marriage)

PS- you write very well, probably the best among the folks here IMO. It's tough to write to a high standard and capture nuances rightly (especially with the extra shuddh Hindi in this serial), but I thought you did an excellent job with that memory loss oneshot- it's a good enough scene to directly feature in the soap for me. Maybe you can do longer FF's that have the answers to your questions 😊

That's right. Track disappointments lead to good fanfics. Why I started writing that Maharaj redemption shot in the first place! I think I need to focus on that till the wedding ceremonies take place. I did get some interesting ideas last night for that shot. I am not sure if I can bring that into words as effectively though but the ideas have been making me laugh.😆

The one thing either logical or implausible, I like a sorted ML as FL always ends up sacrificing for some reason no matter how freaking liberal she is shown. But having a decent ML is not common. The last I saw was Sarabjeet from CS but he was married before, a mature adult, and a widower so maybe he learnt and that’s why he was not loud or all I love but will never trust you type male lead. Dhruv to me is very sorted and he is not a hyper guy who makes rash decisions which is very likeable. Tara I am trying to figure her out. I liked her in 21st century and I am liking her in 17th but I find her inconsistent although it’s not a deal breaker for me.

The one thing I cannot stand is that foolish king. How can he have a flourishing kingdom when he is so stupid? The other implausible things I will chalk it up to ITV but I even by it’s standard the king is dumb as a rock. I mean the whole time travel is unbelievable but for the sake of story I buy it - it’s just the king that makes me want to think that why can’t Dhruv and co. go back to 21st century and leave that stupid king with the love of his life that general? Everyone will get their happy ending that way, won’t they?

I know, Vibha. Expectations shouldn't be high when it's ITV we are talking about. At least we could escape the Icchadhari Kankhajura and all of those ichhadhari species here. I should be grateful. 😆

Jokes apart, it has been honestly hard for me to understand and appreciate Tara lately. I don't enjoy roasting good shows but that is what I have been doing lately while watching DT. Sigh.

Sacrifices don't bother me that much if kept realistic. Like Tara choosing to send Dhruv back to protect his life was realistic in my opinion. It's her helplessness that gets on my nerves.

Tara in the 21st century was fire. Absolutely loved her there. Even in the 17th century... she was fantastic for the initial several episodes. It's just after the whole confession thing, the woman turned absolutely a damsel in distress.

Maharaj Ji kisi se bardasht nahi hote, Vibha. 😆 Maharani se nahi hote to humse kaha se honge. 😆

Yes that 3 foot distance lasted all of two or three scenes but it was a good episode 😊

Wo SSP ka problem hai. They did this with ZDMN too. Monu falling in love with Karan and the whole confession and she became so miserable to watch with her being always in lala land

Damn. I don't think I watched that phase. I hope they didn't ruin Sanjana though. That would be so disappointing.
