It's when we have feelings for someone and confide our emotions in them instead of our partner, that's infidelity or cheating.

I want to know how the system of open marriage can really work. Lets say a couple is in an open marriage. Leave ethics and morality aside. Its their choice blah blah.

The husband asks a random girl for one night stand. Should he first tell the girl he's married and then explain that its an open marriage? Ideally he should. Because even if its an open marriage, the girl might still have reservations sleeping with a married man.

Now after the man tells everything or if the girl already knows he's married. Why would she believe that he's in an open marriage? He could be lying. So then they would have to call the wife to confirm that they indeed have that arrangement. It means everytime the husband is going to date or have a one night stand, he would need to call the wife to convince the girl that they are in an open marriage. Do they do it? No. It doesn't seem very practical.

Either the husband doesn't tell the girl he's married. Or even after knowing the man is married, the girl sleeps with him not caring if he's in an open marriage or not. It means this open marriage thing is really just an excuse.

Either the husband is being dishonest and lying to the girl, even if he's not cheating his wife. Or the girl doesn't care if she's a homewrecker or not even after being told the truth. This open marriage is not a very ideal scenario is it.

No they can't have boyfriend n girlfriend because they r lovers so in open marriage one can only love their spouse.

They will sleep with someone ok with married status or who does not ask or does not care n doesn't expect anything in return except money.

Actually this open marriage thing itself a sham.It's just accepting the cheating considering its natural n going with the flow as nature hasn't made any such things like wedding vows n commitment to one person.

To stabilize human society our ancestors have made such value system but now ppl believe to be free in all aspects n eating, dressing, doing sex as per heart's wish.

Since ancient times men used to marry multiple times n have harem etc but with evolution of society women too r open in accepting their lust n seeking happiness which their husband is not fulfilling. Even husband have no problem as they believe in equality n also they have to give alimony if they stop wife from doing what they r doing as it will result in divorce.

Children will never be considered capable of giving consent. Pedophilia will always be unethical and illegal.
