i'm so sorry yaar 😭 this weekend was really weird, my flight got cancelled after a long delay so i had to cancel my trip altogether. then yesterday and today were really hectic. anyway tomorrow should be relatively chill (dont want to jinx it lol)

I have recently started watching a Marathi show my parents watch. It's currently number 1 show in marathi TRPs and really good storyline so far. It's called 'Tharla Tar Mag' ('So, It's decided!')

So, sharing a brief summary since i didn't find any other gossip to share:

Arjun (ML) and Tanvi(FL) are shown as kids aged 3-4 years. Their parents are BFFs and Tanvi's mom is Arjun's grandmother's best friend's daughter so receives a lot of affection from her. FL's dad is a powerful lawyer but FL's uncle is evil who plans an accident on Arjun's 5th birthday in which Tanvi and her mom are assumed dead while her dad survives. Years later, FL grows up in an orphanage with a very kind father-like figure Madhubhau while ML has grown to be a lawyer assisting FL's dad who is a very famous lawyer.

The evil uncle plans a dirty plan again when he realizes Tanvi is alive and is known as Sayali now. So he plants a fake Tanvi who is another cunning person named Priya. Priya/fake Tanvi wants to marry Arjun as well both families wish the same but Arjun for some reason doesnt like this fake Tanvi and thus proposes a contract marriage to Sayali/real Tanvi who needs his help to save Madhubhau from a fake murder case and save their orphanage.

the story is very gripping currently wherein no one knows sayali is real Tanvi except the evil uncle and his gang while Arjun's family hate Sayali for breaking Arjun-Tanvi wedding but they dont know sayali IS the real tanvi. anyway, I especially liek that Arjun is shown to stand up for sayali every time his dad or his grandma taunts her. he is a very strong ML and after ages seeing a positive, flawless ML!

first of all, i didn't doze off AT ALL because that was such a captivating story and a VERY well-written and clear synopsis 👏

wow, i love the mystery element, the childhoood connection, and most importantly the strong ML! it's been ages since we had a strong ITV ML with a spine. anyway thank you so much for sharing the summary, i really hope SP remakes it in hindi WITHOUT butchering the leads 😎

i haven't watched BB OTT 2 in a while but noticed a lot of discussion around pooja bhatt's bossy behaviour. i noticed it a bit in the initial episodes i watched but seems like people are not liking this behaviour at all as the episodes are progressing. also apparently two contestants had a lip kiss in the show (😲) so i dont think i'll be watching this show anymore as this kind of showmance is not my cup of tea at all 🤢

so i'm sorry for disappointing you and not giving any more updates on this show

here's the long promised BALH3 synopsis:

Ram is a powerful business (duh 😆) who grew up very poor and was raised by a single mother. i dont think he has any siblings but has bunch of evil cousins who only want to enjoy his wealth. Ram's mother is a very sweet and simple lady and she wants a sweet and simple girl for ram who will love him for himself, not for his wealth. Ram has a model girlfriend but Ram's mom doesn't know about their relationship, she only knows about her as ram's close friend. Ram's business partner Alekha is also his best friend and likes a guy called Yuvraj who works at their office. but yuvraj doesn't know that (i'll come back to this)

Priya is a sucessful dentist, belongs to a simple middle class family (mom, dad and a young sister who's an aspiring model). everyone in priya's family is nice, including the extended family. priya is engaged to yuvraj (the guy who works at ram's office) and priya is head over heels in love with him. BUT yuvraj is a gold digger. so as soon as he found out that ram's business partner/friend alekha likes him, yuvraj dumped priya immediately and started dating alekha. alekha doesn't know that yuvraj is evil, in fact when she got to know about yuvraj's engagement with priya, she asked ram to investigate and find out if yuvraj is lying or not. priya was too heartbroken to say anything but her mom told ram that yuvraj is a gold digger and is only dating alekha for her money. but idk why ram didn't believe it (i stopped watching it after this part).

in the meantime, ram's mom had gone to priya's office for a dental surgery and really like priya, she even asked ram if she should ask for priya's hand to marry ram! but ram called priya too simple (she wears simple clothes and doesn't wear makeup). so ram's mom couldn't convince him.

but when i started watching the show after a few weeks/days, RaYa were getting engaged. they signed a secret agreement saying it's a contract marriage and priya wont interfere between ram and his gf's relationship. ram's mom things raya were actually dating and hence getting married and she's very happy with the marriage. ram's gf on the other hand got really jealous and is hell bent on breaking up raya's marriage, so is yuvraj

so yeah so far, ram's character has been shown to be shallow (he only loves his mom) and his so called gf reminds me of shivay's gf or arnav's gf who were there just a showpiece until the hero falls in "love" with the heroine. the only difference is that here the gf is also evil and is busy planning plotting because she doesn't want ram to marry anyone else (idk if she loves him or his money). and almost EVERYONE in ram's extended family is evil, his mama-mami, chacha-chachi and his cousins 😡 whereas everyone in priya's family is nice- i guess to balance it out? 😆

anyway it's a good time pass show, especially considering it'll last only 3 months

ps: Disha looks soooooo pretty in this season, like EXTRA gorgeous, i guess it's the pregnancy glow

that sucks! sorry to hear that your travel plans got cancelled. it was stormy weather here, so i understand.

btw, hope you are being safe amidst the wildfires. it was showing its effects even in my area last week with hazy atmosphere.

yup, they have handled the mystery element well. at least until now. plus the leads are so cute and have a great crackling chemistry so thats a plus. almost reminds me of arshi. only this hero is on FL's side as opposed to ASR.😆
