Nope, Anuj was long gone. The dents were always there but Maaya's track just made them visible. He was gone since he decided not to answer his sister's phone so that Anupama's ex-in-laws family function is not ruined (I still want to know how would have ruined their function). Just being a good puppy to your FL does not count as being a good ML.

Very true. That was his biggest mistake. Even before Maya's entry, their relationship was bound to be doomed. He just kept agreeing to everything she said or did, never opened his mouth about his feelings and expectations and kept her on a pedestal which isn't how a proper husband wife relationship works. He was just so elated he got his 26 years ka pyaar that he forgot that he is allowed to have reasonable expectations in a relationship as well. He also encouraged the toxicity of Shahs for far too long and in my opinion, he didn't even take a stand for CA properly when Baa was mistreating her and discriminating against her like that. He was also just doing Baa Baa black sheep like Anupama. I felt at that time itself both of them didn't deserve to adopt a child if this is how they were going to let her be treated. They couldn't even defend their own kid against that vile woman. And then suddenly everything he bottled up came out all at once and everyone including Anupama was shocked because it seemed like it was coming out of nowhere when in fact it was bound to happen.

Anuj's fault started When he was suffocated with Shah's interference n fights but he took a long time in expressing it out. He himself used to visit shah hosue n invite them on all festivals just to make his wife happy.

Than he told about moving out of Anupama's live to kanta when maya was around giving her false hopes. Than he took her responsibility making her more hopeful without thinking of repercussions.

When did anuj gave hope to Maaya ? Not anuj it's barkha who instigated maaya to get anuj kept on firing her up , he cleared it many time but it maaya who don't want to accept a NO, he very clearly said it maaya & anupama both they why he stayed in dheeraj house in Mumbai coz he don't want to give hope to maaya. I guess u forgot anuj very clearly to maaya to only send CA to him , when maaya asked him to stay in same house with them he refused.

Yes anuj was wrong to accept maaya's responsibility 4 sure thou he tried to clear she only his responsibility , it was very late.

I didn't said anuj gave hopes I said anuj's actions led to maya getting hopes as Maya was mental so she never understood whatever he used to tell her.

But him taking responsibility of maya led to maya believing he will forget anupama n start loving her.

Maya Khand and leaving Anupama for CA were the instances which gave a grey shade to Anuj's char.Otherwise he was a perfect 'patidev' for his Anu. Even after staying with Maya he remained loyal to his wife.But he was wrong as he gave false hopes to Maya when he decided to take her responsibility.But I still love our kapadiaji.❤️His selfless love and loyality for his Anupama makes him the ultimate lover
