I am not going to defend all Akshara's actions because I agree on some points but I still feel she can't be compared to Manjiri.

Trust me I never understood why Manjiri was hated so much before but when you love your son you just cant use and throw anyone. When she asked Abhinav to leave his wife for her son she was at her lowest. She used Roohi and Aarohi for 6 years but now dumping them as they don't mean anything. I think Akshara will atleast not do that. Such Mils who thinks Dils are only to keep their son happy and throw them out to find new one when he is no longer happy and again plan to bring them back for son will make any woman's life worst.

The thing is manjari ko apne bete ki khushi kisi ke bhi expense par chahiye hoti hai and Akshara apne babies/baby ke expense par kisi bhi tisri insaan ke liye kuch bhi karne ready ho jati hai. Both the cases are extreme in their own ways.

I think she failed, as she cannot understand what's running in her son's mind.

I personally prefer Manju over Akshara as a mother, because whatever Manju did, good or bad, but keeping abhi in mind, her focus was always abhi, her son.

But Akshara uses her son to keep the husband happy. She is hardly been there for her son(atleast that's what has been shown). She can't recognise his moods, his illness, his nature, his behaviour as a 6 yr old. But she can notice even the slightest mood change of her so called pati🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

In terms of whether she's a good mother or not, her parents (Naira and Karthik) were negligent as hell to both their kids, including Kairav. But Manju is a horrible horrible character. So I don't think there's any comparison there.

No, the marriage would not have survived regardless. Did you forget that Abhimanyu was 1/2 of their marriage? He couldn't see anything past his mother. A married with one partner codependent on their parent and embellished is NOT going to survive.
