Little B makes Big B emotional

Recently, there was s a surprise post on Amitabh's blog from someone called "little b". It was none other than his own son Abhishek. In the post, which was in response to Amitabh's earlier post on May 18th which was about his own school days and his father, Abhishek shared his childhood memories about school and Big B. After reading his son's post Amitabh become very emotional, he wrote in his blog.

Here is what Abhishek's post read…

Hi dad,

I think you'd agree that we do some of our best thinking when we travel. After reading today's blog post I, too, am taken back to my school days at Aiglon. It was the evening before the basketball inter school tournament finals and the weekend before the most eagerly awaited sporting event in the school. The inter house basketball tournament, I remember, it was to be my first ever appearance on the school team. It was a practice session the night before the big game when I landed on a team member's foot and ended up tearing all the ligaments in my foot and chipping one of the bones in my foot. Like you, I was put in a huge cast and shackled to my bed (well at least, that's how it felt) i was shattered. This was something I had dreamt of for years. And my dream was cruelly snatched away from me! The following week during the inter house competition I was sitting on the sideline as the honorary coach. I will never ever forget the visual of seeing you in the stands cheering for my house and more importantly ME! Ma told me that upon hearing of my accident you cancelled all your shoots and flew to Switzerland to be with me….. later that evening I remember you telling me the same story that you have shared with everyone today. Especially dadajis words!!!!!
" mann ka ho to achcha, na ho to zyada achcha"

these 10 words gave me strength then and till date guide me.
Just wanted to share this with you and tell you that I love you for being the man that you are and the best father a boy could ever ask for. And for always being there for me.

Love,
son

Abhishek was in Cannes with Jaya and Amitabh who left for London on Monday. Abhishek was to take a later flight to Mumbai. His Nice-London flight got delayed and since he would have missed his connecting flight to Mumbai from London, he stayed back in Nice to travel Tuesday (May 20th). He wrote this comment as he waited in the lounge in London, Heathrow.

but it's AB's blog!!!!! Abhi didn't write an article or say it in an interview...he wrote it on a blog where people who want to affiliate with AB are there...just because a journalist went on AB's blog and saw this and wrote an article on it you are saying this is publicity for sarkar raj?...why is it such a big deal? I don't think ANY of AB's movies need publicity....people just need to calm down! 😆

A son writing a letter to his father is not sucking up to him. Our parents do so much for us and we take it for granted and if someone wants to say Thank You to their parents I don't know why some people have a problem with that. I think it was very sweet of Abhishek to do that. Good Job Abhishek 👏

So true and people forget to see the positive side of any statement as they have pre conceived ideas and are all out to attack.how small minded.
