Whereas Prabhas has no bashing against him nor Kriti and only Saif is getting bashed.

Ramayana is considered an epic and revered in Sri Lanka as much as in India. There's a lot of places where its said that Sitha was kept captive that people go to visit and worship. I have so many fond memories of watching the old ramayana tv show with my grandma.

This movie is nothing short of blasphemous.

All I want to say is, sorry for what Adipurush movie has portrayed Lanka to be. If anyone was supposed to ban Adipurush, it's to be u people. Sorry.❤️

aamir will never make such a big mistake. he will handle it very carefully. srk too is a very wise person. let alone ram/ ravan he wouldn't have allowed a junior artist to have such a haircut in the film.

saif ali khan must have been offered a huge sum to play the rule...bechara whatever was offered to him accepted and went with the flow.

In this sense I am happy other PMs except Nehru, IG, RG, ABV, Modi, never ever indulged celebs, singers or sports wale so much and so publicly and maintained a stoic and no nonsense image instead of flamboyant image, wannabe stars themselves.

Modi is indeed the biggest star of India since last 9 years. No two ways about it. And I bet he likes the attention he gets which is why he lands up at celeb weddings or gets into films or celeb controversies and has a theatrical and filmi style of speaking in rallies himself.

Modijee went to Virushka's wedding because Virat was India's cricket team's captain..and PC Nick because PC was goodwill ambassador for India or something on those lines right? I mean if he gets invited for weddings thats not a crime for a PM to attend😆

I saw an interview of Manushi Chillar with Anupama Chopra..and IDC what she was thinking, but she said the only person she has been star struck around is Modijee..you should have seen Anupama's face..😆

Just heard a story from someone I know..Modi and and a Gujarati man, who is now settled in US, grew up in the same place in Gujarat and were neighbours..his mom used to took care of Modi..because Modi's mother used to go for household chores related work at other houses. Years later..when Modi became PM and went to US for the first time..he personally reached out to that man..and asked him, if he would be able to meet Modijee..obviously that person was overjoyed..

Narendra the child was a chaiwala's son..and repeatedly thrown mud at..for being uneducated and blaah blaah on this forum, which exposes the classist mentality of many people here actually..but now Modi as a PM..wanted to meet that man and remembered him, since his mother took care of him in his growing up years..it says a lot about him! I know a lot of people hate him and squarely blame him for everything that goes on in a country of 1.4 billion people lol...god knows he gets abused more than any superstar or any other celebrity. Many things are twisted in the media today..I dont support Arnab etc..but left media is equally pathetic..the Khan market gang of media is also as vicious if not more..there is no centrist ground in this country. Sadly thats how polarized it is.

Frankly the memes are so hilarious😆 Adipurush if not nothing, atleast made us all laugh for all the wrong reasons, whichever side we belong to😆

Saif cares less..he wouldn't even have bothered to watch the movie.

Don't see much backlash for him for acting in this movie..what people r remembering is his earlier interview where this movie was about showing more humane side of Raavan.

Anyways everyone's portrayal of their character is criticized..most is reserved for Manoj Muntashir though 😀

Apart from the point that u made, Aamir, SRK, KJo, SLB etc r not mauled as such.

If it's about online mauling, Adipurush is receiving the same. Ask Om Raut and Muntashir.

Aamir had been saying since 2008 that Mahabharat was his fav epic and his dream project was to make Mahabharat in parts and he hoped to play Karna, which was a fascinating character according to him but he had no physique for it so he would probably play Lord Krishna.

He was in talks with SS Rajamouli also over collab on such a project once as per reports in media few years ago.

I guess he gave up idea after all backlash against him and will now not even think of it again after fate of Adipurush.

Salim Javed had also praised Mahabharat and called it an inspiration for their scripts like Trishul and Deewar.

I am glad they all stayed away from directly making any film on Indian epics or else they would have been dragged over burning coals if even one thing went wrong and they'd be labeled ISI agents to defame Hinduism.

Saif is getting hate for Adipurush for years since he spoke on Ravana. Ironically he is still the only actor getting bashed and not a single word in criticism of Prabhas or Kriti or actors who did other roles. Obvious why he is the only one being bashed among entire cast. Good he is in hiding and not speaking to media about the film now. Hope he keeps silent for his own good than make excuses or get defensive.

Arnab is not right wing (the Indian RW I mean..not elsewhere) in any way. The problem with some RW people is they make heroes out of people quickly..that's the reason disappointment is also huge.

And regarding Modiji..in this forum at least we know perception of few people isn't going to change..so we will keep seeing the hate here, in media and many other places.

But the amount of love, respect and affection he receives from people of this country far surpasses this hatred. I know people who pray for his well-being daily..who bless him daily for the amount of work he has got done on ground.

The only way to fight this viciousness and hate is how he does. Ignore. Those who hate r gonna hate..that's their problem.

Well when one is PM then he is bound to be bashed for everything. MMS used to be bashed for everything and labeled silent PM or Maunmohan.

Late Nehru, Indira and Rajiv are still bashed.

VP Singh is most hated due to Mandal.

ABV was bashed for bus service to Lahore etc.

It happens and is natural and one should be prepared to handle bashing if one becomes politician in a chaotic and large, diverse, volatile and emotional nation like India.

Also when one is probably one of most visible PMs in history of India one should know he will get negative attention too.

I do not think the PM has to attend every event he gets invited for. Virushka or Nickyanka are not his friends. So do not compare it to attending weddings of friends or relatives.

Arnab is deffo RW and has been sounding more openly and aggressively rightleaning ever since he launched own channel Republic.

Sounds like a fanboy and uses same talking points as BJP, RSS.

I daresay as a journalist he has been far more punitive and harsh on UPA than NDA and was single handedly responsible for destroying Rahul Gandhi's image with one interview on Times now.

Totally killed any chance of RaGa being taken seriously. RaGa has still not recovered from that attack and is still pappu.
