Who told Nav is insecure about Abhir finding truth. Did we even see in any episode what his emotions are on that. The focus was all on his finances and he just feared that he will loose his son forever. He is insecured because he has right to know his son has known the truth. Because his wife and her ex hided it from him. I don't deny Nav is little insecured but not for reasons your mentioning. The two reasons are one he fears he will loose his life his loving son forever because of his finances or whatever. Second he was orphan and gained this family whom he loves so much that he is scared to loose them.
See if you don't agree on this. It's ok we both have different opinions on this and let's peace out. I have put my thoughts and you did the same.
First, he did hide the truth along with Ak, so there is no discussion. It is good that he felt guilty about it, and there was a back-and-forth between Ak and him about it, but that doesn't change the equation. They are married and made those decisions together.
Nav's insecurity has been the highlight of this show from the beginning of the leap. He has repeatedly said stuff about destiny and his role in this family. His insecurity is also very obvious during the custody battle, and it was not just about losing Abhir cause of the financial issue. Ak pointed out that Nav actually wanted to compete with Abhi. Nav himself said that Abhir should have everything he would have had (were he a Birla). The custody track did bring it out more for everyone to see, but the insecurity about his financial status has been there from the beginning.
To my understanding, Ak is only hiding the fact that Abhir knows half the truth cause she is worried Nav will be insecure. She may be wrong, and we will get to know Nav's perspective soon. As to my reasons for Nav's insecurity - I am only using the words he himself has spoken. He never refers to this family as being Ak's choice but Destiny's. He has repeatedly said to Abhi that destiny has given him this family, has given him Ak, etc. Now that destiny seems to be saying something different by bringing Abhira together; he is insecure. Because he still doesn't see Ak's choice or her devotion to this family. I have said this before; he is not insecure about Ak's love; he is insecure about his position/requirement in the family. He feels that if Abhi can fulfill this role well, then he is not required and is actually a thorn in the way of a happy family. But the point of all of this is that it is Ak's choice, and until she changes her choice, it doesn't matter if she is cordial and friendly with Abhi or if Abhir knows Abhi is his real father.
