" ‘Daang’ and ‘gandaasi’ are weapons. Daang is a pole with iron bands, and gandaasi is the weapon Ranbir snatches off the wall. The sound of the Daang is usually a preliminary to a hand to hand fight. That’s how one party announced to the other one that it had arrived, and violence was about to go down. The track is basically describing what’s happening. Ranbir is wearing the traditional ‘chadar’ as well. Props to Vanga for the references."
