I agree to some extent…when she said I did it for the masses,.,I first thought fine she wanted to seek the audience that craves OTT banal romance. But now when we see the show for what it became, she insulted both herself and the masses..I am sorry.
I pride myself in enjoying both tharki and cerebral stories but to slot people like this as masses and elite is doing a disservice to both…bhai bodice rippers aur cerebral dono ke standards hotey hai!

Yep, I have watched that IV of Yumna. I am highly disappointed in her for saying that considering I am her huge fan and always considered her a responsible actress. Her doing TB is fine but saying those positive things about TB was really problematic.

I have seen the tweets and most of the fans who trended against TB for showing MR in the trailer were more concerned about Murtasim's character getting ruined for them to ship him with Meerab later or Wahaj's reputation going down for playing such a character rather than getting concerned about normalising MR in the name of passionate romance. The writer needs to be bashed the most for such regressive and disgusting storyline. She even said in her interview that she wants youth to imagine a romance like Meerab and Murtasim, I mean, how can you? Even if we eliminate that MR thing for a second, even Meerab and Murtasim's relationship was highly problematic and toxic.

MeeMuu’s relationship was just full of corny eye gazing and cheesy lines with no depth or progression or character development.. it has always been rinse and repeat of these so called romantic moments then doubts and trust issues and misunderstandings or in fan lingo MUs.. (too many M acronyms gosh).. then without them resolving previous issues move on to next corny scenes and then MeeMuu MUs..

I don’t even know why the fan girls think it’s great chemistry when the plot is wafer thin, the acting sub par.. they should have just made the show 25 episodes and just marketed as fluff romance, get good ratings for 25 episodes, make the plot fast paced then end it ..
