Meerab’s over the top reaction is that of a possessive woman who missed her husband but b/c of ego, pride & her sense of being wronged re: Mariam, she lets her anger override reason. Behind closed doors is consensual sex where both succumbed to weeks of denial
But then comes remorse from both (while storytelling is further destroyed to make up for trying to insinuate MR for ratings/suspense). Meerab, who’s yet to acknowledge her love to herself, can’t accept that she took away the one leverage she had in this relationship.
Murtasim is ashamed that he broke his promise; she’s ashamed that she broke her oath. She leaves before she loses herself anymore. He comes back, hoping that somehow he will find a new normal for them both
Because he didn’t think what happened was sinful, he can’t imagine that she ran away. Intuitively he knows she loves him; so he thinks Rohail compelled her to leave. He thinks that after his beating, maybe R spun a tale that led her to meet him & he kidnapped her.
