Him reacting like that was understandable because he was brought up like that. But for viewers, the male lead reacting like that will make him a grey character. And also there are some inconsistencies in his character.

And in Episode 7, MB gave reasons why he should marry Meerab:

- She is beautiful.

- She is educated.

- She is of equal stature.

Then he said that shuld I marry her based on these things. Then what else he want to consider? Compatibility?

And the already established things were

- She is from his khandan i.e., his uncle's daughter.

- And the marriage was his father's wish.

And his main concern was compatibility. Do the guys with feudal background consider compatibility? Let's say they consider it. And for suppose he had a compatibility with a girl who is not from his khandaan, would he have agreed to marry her?

And in Episode 39, he said that he was/is not interested in the system and in the environment and wanted to become an International Wildlife Photographer. But he behaves like a feudal lord.

The inconsistencies present in TB is like a mountain..🤣🤣 they clearly told Meerab spends every birthday with khan family. So they did spend childhood together. But no reference was ever made. It was shown like she is a complete stranger. Only in the accident episode where Meerab runs away in ep 3 or 4 she tells I know you from childhood. 🤷🤷🤷

Like how lazy can they be.. If you are showing fbs then at least show some unaired footage so viewers can enjoy... Par itna kaam hi nahin karna... Waise hi views mil rahe hain
