I think NM wrote an out and out feudal lord character with some romantic moments. If we see, Meerasim relationship lacked emotional bonding. It had romantic moments but no emotional bonding. I personally feel that romance without emotional bonding is incomplete.

In SH review, Aamna said that if Wahaj had not made changes to Murtasim's character people would have understood his behaviour(considering MR) and Hassan told that Wahaj made changes in the previous episodes so why didn't he change it afterwards? True. Whether it was MR/CS his conversation with Haya was unnecessary.

He was going to the movie launch event so he said he will catch up with Wahaj and want to question if he made changes in script in initial episodes and made Murtasim a charming character then why didn't he do the same in latest episodes.
