There are no rules for parenting.

I think abhir is a very mature kid for his age and the way he interact with abhim , the credit goes to his parents only , It's good parenting from akshara and abhinav .

If the child is considerate of his parents financial condition , doesn't wanna trouble them with his health condition, it's a sign of good parenting. Here the parents cud be more attentive , it's their fault. Anyways a child or parent can't know how serious the health condition is unless confirmed with a doctor or there r serious symptoms.

I have seen 18+ kid not share anything with his mother while he was being abused by his tuition teacher...it's his personality trait, I have known his mom , she's my best friend n she's a very devoted mother..all children do it out of insecurity or fear or concern or don't know what reason but they do it quite often. Ideally they should not.

Atleast for me abhir acts a little too mature...i personally feel kids should act like kids.....these r the best years of ur life nd r not supposed to wasted worrying over adult problems.....

I hope ur friends child finds someone if not his mother to share his worries with if he can't handle these on his own hoping for the best for him ❤️...

.but yes once we become adults we tend to share more with our friends then family atleast that' what my experience has been nd we do get the agency to handle our issues on our own....a kid can hardly manage those issues so why worry about them....not calling it bad parenting but i don't find this a healthy trait in a child

I am agreeing with your view. A 6 year old talking about his parents financial condition and hiding things from them in order to not giving them tension is a bit overboard. If abhir is 8 or 9 years old it is relatable. My younger one who is around 5 still don't know about the financial condition, but he surely know all his tantrums will not be fulfilled. Not telling children about the finances or other complex stuff is not a bad parenting but allowing a child to enjoy his/her childhood without any burden.

6 yr old might not understand the financial situation in their house but some will be aware of the situation.

Also Abhir knows his family's financial condition but he never envied Ruhi for her financial status. That's what matters.

About hiding things from his parents, his thinking is more matured than his age and it is shown right from beginning

Abhir is like his mom for his family and for others he is like his dad. He is exposed to so many bhashans from akshu for a shoe so he will feel he is burdening them.

Even that day he said something like he will also do something for which akshu said you don't have to worry as your parents are here. .

Like if they openly talk about money infront of kid he feel reluctant. They shoulld teach him the limits but not teach him you should consider our budget before asking anything.

Let him ask they will tell if they can afford or not. But here due to exposing him to too much of momey matters he may even feel reluctant even to ask a book

Even his initial meet with abhi was he hitting abhi with football as he thinks abhi will not pay abhinav that itself shows how much it has impact on him.

I think one thing people are forgetting is that it's easy to tell a child that his/ her father is no more. Has become a star. On the other hand telling him that why his father left them and how is tricky.

Both situations aren't comparable.

There should be a dialogue when Abhi said to Akshu k bta dena chahiye. Rooh ko bachpan se pta hai and all.

Akshu should have asked k Abhir ko kya btaynge kyun saath nhi the, kahan the, kyun nhi aaye etc

Being aware of the financial condition and worrying about your parents financial condition at the age of 6 are two very different things and I am speaking this from a very personal front. I come from a family of 11 people living together with two bread winners and that too, one with not so great salary either. I was aware of where we stand economically as a child but I was never made to feel worry about my school fees or made to feel like the financial issue is because of my tution fees as Abhir has seen his parents fought.

I understand where Abhir is coming from, I have been like that and even as an 18 year old, I am like that but I do know that's not normal. Me not sharing my fears, my pain, my life with my family members speaks a lot about my childhood and yes, it has not been easy.

So if anyone here thinks that Abhir acts like a mature child, then the answer is no. He is not mature... The only fact that is- he is not a child! He is just someone who was forced to grow up and he is another Abhimanyu Birla in making- the protecter but also the one who suffers the most!

Being mature does not mean not being your age- don't confuse the two.
