Abhir's upbringing

I have been thinking about this but as I wasn't here during old episodes, I didn't really feel the need to write it thinking that they might have removed it from the plot but it happened in tonight's episode too

Abhir is a 6 years old child who has to constantly worry about his parents' financial condition, kids at his age are generally kept away from things like this. Akshara and Abhinav always fought in front of him about their monetary issues which is not the right thing to do

This led to the boy hiding his extreme health condition and now, that the truth is troubling him, he doesn't want to confide in his parents as they'll worry about him

A 6 years old can't talk to his parents about problems in his life, is not good parenting

On the other hand, Ruhi has been presented as a very understanding child, she had an episode of insecurities which were handled by her father.

It is interesting how they compared Abhir with Ruhi during Ruhi's insecurity phase to highlight how Abhir is better child and now, Ruhi is being compared with him to highlight, how sorted her life is because her parents don't lie to her

No, A child should not be a party to financial struggles of his parents and it is not normal "We can't buy you a helicopter", it is extreme where Abhir hides his health conditions which led to him playing football with a hole in his heart, the boy was in pain but couldn't share with his parents. This pain is not what a child deserves. People in their 30s can't handle stress

IMO, children should know about the financial condition of their family to keep their expectations in check. Otherwise, they may develop resentment against their parents, without knowing the reason, for not providing with what they see all their peers have.

I actually believe as well that kids should know about their parents financial situation, but not see the fights parents have over it. Knowing we aren't rich to afford to extra things, even something like vacations or a new bicycle, the need to know that to not want those things, but yes, seeing parents constantly fight over it is not correct.

My parents were always transparent about their financial condition so we never asked for expensive things, or were extra careful with the things we had, but yes, if they ever fought over it, we didn't know and that made us treat money as a necessity and hence, tell our parents when it was something important, unlike Abhir who hides it to stop his parents from fighting.

I'm gonna say this is his mother's side of genes coz AK always had this habit of hiding stuff from everybody never sharing her problem coz tension hojayegi...but true they've really shown abhir in too much complex being so young nd i get he's a smart kid nd everything but that ckt acts way beyond his age...but golu is a cutiepie so 7 khoon maaf 😂

I have said this from the beginning, but Abhir needs Abhi as a parent in his life. Not cause of the financial stuff or anything else. I think kids should know about finances in general, but obviously, parents shouldn't fight in front of the kids. The thing is, both Akshnav are really emotional, and sometimes one of them tries to be stronger ( usually Ak), but at the end of the day, Abhir knows his parents. So in every instance, he is shown being more of a kid with Abhi and sharing his issues with him than with his own parents, where he has to be more understanding and take care of them instead.

I also hate how Akshnav asked Abhir to lie for them in Udaipur a few times. It's against Abhir's nature to lie, and more importantly, he is a kid who doesn't understand the complexities of all of these adult relationships. Then why are you asking him to lie or go along with your lie? Kids learn from their parents, and so we have the BP talk with Ak as well, where she confides in him that Abhir hid his pain, and BP tells her you do the same with us.

Personally No, a child should have some idea as to where you stand in the financial bracket but how the financials r gonna be handled is hardly a 6 years old headache...he should not be worried ki surgery ke paise kahan se aayenge nd mehengi dawai this nd that....i guess the dialogue today was something on those lines.

A child shouldn't have to worry about it, Abhir understanding that he can't have expensive things is a good thing but Abhir thinking that he would rather die than tell his parents about his health struggles is not a good thing.

He is only 6
