kekeke.... have you seen paw patrol? I used to watch the cartoon with my niece when she was younger. literally more story happens in one episode then in some 3 weeks of this serial. 😂

so you can be wholesome, nice and still have some actual story, just like cartoons manage it. 😂

the makers here are basically doing vlogs at the moment. I don't get it at all. 😆

Lol, why wouldn’t we want to discuss what we like or don’t like about this show? When the story makes no sense or rather when there is no story, what do we take lightly? Isn’t the whole purpose to give the audience a story?!! As for me, there is pretty much nothing else I am watching, so I can’t compare and say this is different!

Its super rich business family power politics drama, where fight is about who will be next heir to Mahajan empire,😳 also why qualified & capable daughter can't be a successor, instead of a son? Haven't seen earlier Sab as channel going after power politics concepts..

btw Papa Garewal actor is going to be tough villain in this serial.

Agree the plot has to move and they can't let the plot stretch eternally without any substance. There's those Saturdays when I was thinking about the upcoming Monday story reveal but not anymore and I don't feel the excitement anymore.

same! this track makes no sense to me especially within the Indian context. like I mentioned in a post on mili's thread, this feels like some firangi inspired Indian show at the moment.

I literally don't understand why he doesn't just hire a nanny/ayah. forget teji and farah but these men are rich. so rich that viaan had 1 crore plus lying in cash around his house that he could give to katha during the one night stand.

he obviously has servants and this is some rich house that the servants are dressed in fancy uniform. why on earth are they asking katha? why not just call one of the servants and ask them to get someone to watch the baby for a while or help out?

otherwise, there are agencies where you can call and hire a nanny for the month or two. there are also agencies where you can hire nurse aids as well.

the entire arc feels like it is set somewhere abroad where you don't have servants and relatives helping out in the house when there is a newborn. I can understand this arc if the setting was different but this drama is based in mumbai.

the whole thing is supposed to show off how viaan has father vibes and that is supposed to move katha's needle. rather than romantic, that just feels cringe. I neither find it cute nor relatable.

viaan has no job that he leaves office to babysit? what kind of CEO is he? 🤦

so the father of the baby has no time, the grandmother is too sick but some random friend will leave office during the day to come babysit a newborn. right, eye roll. 🙄🙄🙄

Okay, they can copy ‘this is us’ if they want to copy firangi shows. It shows how new parents struggle. It is a big hit with real parents.

Here just to show Viaan as the person who goes out of the way to experience fatherhood he keeps showing up in the birthing suite, acting as a nanny when even after googling how to change a diaper does it wrong. Baby’s father is forgotten under the guise of working more time. Keith was doing okayish i guess seeing his studio in earlier episodes. It just feels like he just wanted a biological child but does not want to spend time in the initial phase of the baby. Amritha does not complain about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wth! If it was me I would have brought the roof down.

A colicky baby became so quiet after Katha’s intervention so soon! The hing thing is not advised although a common practice amongst some Indian Parents. After 8 years Katha is the perfect nanny. Whoever thought things have changed in these years are in for a shock from this show!
If Viaan wanted to take up a fatherly role, he would have known a new mom needs ample rest & would have thought about nanny earlier & not at the end moment when the baby was crying badly. Funny enough the audio of baby crying was shut off conveniently.
Cringe worthy scene was katha scratching his nose with the baby cloth/ swaddle. He could have put the baby down/ given baby to her & scratched his nose.

This looks like forced way to gain Katha’s love indirectly. She was amused at Viaan handling the new baby. Man me ladoo phoot raha hai Katha ko ki what a wonderful father Viaan will be.

bad mein jao Aarav & Earth Con. Neeraja is there to babysit Aarav whilst Katha baby sits the baby of some unknown people to her 🤣 she knows Keith but in a limited manner!

I am not keen on watching anymore until this baby track is wrapped up.

I have just finished watching the ep where Seema Dutta tells Viaan that she doesn't know his father. After my recent traumatic experience with TB and nonsensical plots🤣, I absolutely loved this ep of KA especially the following:

- PapaG telling Reet to look after her children🤣

- Viaan saying that he needs to forgive and let go of his past for his sake and that of Katha's.

- The whole scene with Seema Dutta. The acting was really good in that scene.

Give me boring KA any day over shows where writers come up with nonsensical plots to generate hype.

Viaan letting go off years of trauma so easily - I am happy for Viaan but it was not realistic. It takes years to attain that sainthood & since KA was short on time they decided Viaan to become that saint quickly after he realised he is in love with Katha. Sometimes a person cannot let go that but will make peace with that trauma. I have watched more bizarre shows so that way KA is better.

Sometimes people get an epiphany and realise how useless their burden was. Once the realisation sets in, then it's very easy to let go.

I do not find Viaan a saint. He tries, he falters but he is sincere. He doesn't know better in terms of relationships, fatherhood so he goes to extremes. We find Viaan and his actions ridiculous. We do not like the fact that he looks up to Katha. But if we stand in his shoes, wouldn't we do the same? I personally understand triggers. Katha is Viaan's trigger. She is that ray of light which drew him out of the tunnel. She is that voice which reached him beyond his veil of darkness. He is doing crazy antics but what choice does he have? He has to believe that Katha and him will be together one day, and he has to do anything possible to keep that hope alive.
