Many Hindus are forward community and we fall in General category.. we get seats in College based on merit only..

Nothing like this exists abroad where Asians can get through because of their caste.

Hindus are 80% of India's population and reserved category is almost 70% of India's population.

It’s been a strategy for lonnnnggg for the political leaders/establishments/dictators to scare the majority into thinking that they are unsafe and how voting for them is their only way to safety….fear is a big motivator and easiest way to get the majority to come out in droves to vote for them… Nothing new but sadly people fall for it every time

The Kerala Story may or may not be authentic. Maybe it is telling complete facts, but the reason most of the people are watching this movie or watched Kashmir Files is because of hate for a certain community.

Bollywood makes a lot of social movies based on real issues with unknown or non-bankable actors. They don't break records like TKF or TKS. Maximum such social based movies with 18+ rating, disturbing scenes, no entertainment value and unknown actors make 60 Crores at the box office. While these two movies have made/would make 250 Crores nett lifetime. Even movies of Superstars are failing to reach this mark nowadays. Families are going to watch this disturbing movie with kids. Its not a trend.

The reason these movies made so much money is because of Hindu Vs Muslim angle. Both TKF and TKS had this thing in common. Showing Hindus as victims and Muslims as complete monsters in the movie, which might be okay for the story they're trying to tell. But audience won't go to watch another similar movie which shows a minority community as victims even if its based on complete facts. Most of them are not watching it for the actual subject, its just a catalyst.

This is part of "dark education"...instilling fear and hate...giving an enemy to vent frustrations...the propaganda is done on an emotional level...getting masses through emotions...manipulating emotions into pro-contra (here pro Hindus-contra Muslim and not here female victims - there betraying/criminal perpetrators).

If one wants to align a mass of people to an own concept of thinking and values, one has to concentrate on emotions, not on intellect...pondering, questioning,reflecting is contra-productive to manipulate masses into the wishes of one/some/a group and/or into reaching a certain goal.

It would be nice if those who still propagate the good-will of The Kerala Story, inform themselves about what makes a movie a propaganda movie.

I've learned it during my studies as the use of movies as propaganda tools had been prominent in Germany in the 20's, 30's and 40' of the previous century.

After having watched The Kashmir Files, I now know 1st hand that it is an infamous propaganda movie...and now, each time I watch Mr. Kher in a movie, I think of him doing this film.

As for The KeralaStory, I've to wait for the OTT release, but I guess, it is even worse.

The game of politics will never be sweet smelling 'unity aromas' of baby powder.

It's the patience in changing of the 'smelly diapers' that has to withstand the test of time.

Politics in every country is quite dirty, and full of various forms of propaganda.

Selling unity is very very hard 👍🏼

Uniting because one personally cares and genuinely loves a cause is easy.

Uniting in a political setting is always difficult, because allegiances and causes change. 👍🏼

That doesn't hinder to inform oneself.

I'm aware that politics mostly are not smelling nicely...and propaganda is used from all sides. That's why I take politics always as a questionable subject.

If propaganda movies, then why not for togetherness and positive things...also for practical things...how to deal with problems without violence... etc.
