I’m still not sure why she’s there.

Anyway, I don’t know why she opted for traditional wear for Cannes. It would have made sense if she was there to present an Indian movie, otherwise it just seems like an attempt to get some positive headlines from Indian media. It also looks like she’s going through some weird Met Gala FOMO with that long dupata train on the red carpet.

The black dress is pretty but I agree with MEB, the handbag is a big no no with that gown.

I don’t know if this video has been posted yet but she seems very nervous just falters with her words. The confidence that this girl had on her first KWK appearance seems all but gone now. Kind of sad.

The jury is almost half and half men and women, but every single one of them is in black except Brie Larson, who is in gold. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but it does interrupt the impression of a united front, which is interesting given her comments in the press conference earlier when asked about Johnny Depp.
