I'm glad you are getting some fun out of this. Good for you. I really wanted to see another point of view though. That's all.

If u didn't agree with me u still could have posted your opinion like others are doing. But u had to make it seem like I need to be corrected. Through ur infinite wisdom.

If u wanted to see another point if view then they are available in plenty in this very thread itself.

Anyways since u think i have nothing to reply to ur arguments, i will, just this once, reply to that post of yours. Be grateful.😆

You're funny I'll give you that 😆

I wanted to see what answers you will give me, not correct you. If I wanted to correct people, be assured it won't be on an online forum.

I hope it's a good reply then. 👍🏼

Yes, targeted conversion by brainwashing is a problem. Question is how should we differentiate that with genuine conversions or conversions done for convenience like because of patriarchy. How do we even define brainwashing? I'm not saying brainwashing doesn't exist, but its still women making the choice. They're adults. They're responsible for their own choices. They're not dumb who can fall for anything.

But lets say a small portion of women are really dumb and can get brainwashed. Then the only solution for this is to give women more freedom. The more they get to see the outside world, face challenges and get life experiences, the more easily they can see through a guy's bullshit. But since women are treated like kids in India, with men making all the decisions for them, they have very little real world experience. Normalising inter-religious marriages would also be a good step, but its a long way to go.

@Bold This. 👏

Trying to avoid religious discussions.

But looking at it from the grand scheme of things, brainwashed people tend to have low self-esteem, lack of confidence and autonomy, and often have complex family dynamics where they feel unloved and misunderstood. This is the reason why women end up in abusive or toxic relationships. This is the reason why women don't leave said relationships. Sexual predators/sex traffickers also look for women like this they can target. The insidious conversion where bad faith actors target women to convert usually happens in these situations.

The more people have freedom, autonomy, respect, and support - the less likely they will fall prey to bad-faith actors. Women need the freedom to get educated, work, and be financially and socially independent. I also think dating should be encouraged and families should have conversations with their children about sex and dating. It can reduce gullibility and prevent women from falling for fvck boys, both religious and abusive.

Edit to add: There is a ton of content out there that shows how people are preyed on. While I think every story is relevant for awareness, I am often like - what now. What is the next step? And my problem tends to be that every time such a story is told the solution never is for society to change and empower women - the solution is to broad stroke eliminate anyone of a different faith who may woo women, irrespective of whether they are genuine or bad.

Seriously what are you preventing against? Conversions? How does it matter to you personally that the number of Hindus becomes less? Are you scared to be in the minority? Because minorities have lesser rights and can be easily dominated by majority? So, is the fear in today's minorities about being cast aside by the majority justified then? Think about it.

Yes not just conversions but specially targeted conversionsc that use overt or covert methods to trap gullible people.

It matters personally to me because if Hindus become less if Hindus become minority India will become Pakistan or Bangladesh for Hindus.

Yes I'm scared to be in minority because ive seen what muslim ghettos or Muslim majority areas can be for Hindus even in my own city.

Muslims are not even minority. They are second largest majority and get special privileges in India. Jains are the real minority but they feel quite happy and safe here.

Now you think about it

Why are you being a soldier of your religion? Isn't religion just a belief?

Just like you are being a soldier of your belief. Atleast I'm not waging a jihad.

If our gods are true then will they become false if Hindus become less in number?

What even? What is this question? Kuch bhi

Anyways Allah is the only true God already according to some. With majority that view will be enforced more strongly on Hindus.

Are you scared that they will force you to convert to their religion if they are in greater numbers?

Yes

And what exactly will that change for you? That you will have to eat beef or pork or something?

It will change everything that i believe in.

If you sign a paper claiming to be a muslim but pray in your heart to Shiv or Krishna then are you really a Muslim? Could they convert you? No. If someone doesn't want to change their religion, no one can force them. Because believing in something is as personal as it gets. No one can go inside someone's mind to see what they believe in or follow. Maybe you cannot practice it as such but Hinduism is not just about the practice of it, it's in the believing of it and living those ideals.

That can be done as a last resort but i don't want matters to reach that level. Better to control before u have to pray to God secretly so that no-one catches u doing so... Like it's some crime.

That's why I call BS on these brainwashing tactics because nobody can forcefully convert anyone.

Your calling bs would not change anything. Don't give yourself so much importance

You cannot convert someone's heart if they don't want to do it. So why be scared of it? Why try to prevent it?

Already answered. I don't want to scared praying to my God like it's some crime.

If someone feels so weakly about Hinduism that they can convert for money or other things then let them do it. How does it matter?

Protecting the weak is dharma.

I think it only matters in the legal hassles that come with some religion or some societal rules otherwise not really. If they can change laws to make all religions the same in the law's eyes, I think it won't make one bit of a difference that who is converting who.

U think too much but without much substance

My answers in red.

Hope u r satisfied now. Even if u r not dont expect me to go through all this trouble again. Think whatever u want.

So imagine being minority. Oh wait. We don’t have to imagine. In Pakistan, Sindh, minority Hindu minor girls gets abducted daily, raped and converted. Married off to 52 years olds.

@bold — In India, Minorities especially Muslim minority has more rights than any other religion. Muslim men can get married 4 times. There’s Wafq board who is 3rd largest land owner in India. There’s state funded Madrasas.

Hindu temples are governed by Indian government but not mosques and churches.

Ethnic cleansing of minorities are stories of the world, its not unique to Islamic countries, In fact most conflicts today India/ Pakistan; Palestine/ Israel; the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda are a product of colonialism.,

They did it deliberately after divide and rule so when forced to flee- people die from infighting. Thats the bitter truth. Although I agree there were religious fanatics that forced converted and abuducted women (also in Europe where non muslim slaves were sold off to the Ottomon empire). Its something that happens with minorities irrespective of religion at times (Although I think Indians in general have always been peaceful in that ways- as the religions that came out of Indian subcontinent believed in coexistence and there is no concept of conversion). But you have to add that Indian muslims are still Indians - either converted themselves or were forced to. They are not invaders. They are own flesh and blood. Jews in Spain were also forced converted to Catholicism in the late 1400s.How many Africans died when forced fully shipped off to US for slavery in inhumane conditions? mental and sexual exploitation did they go through if they managed to live through the journey? Much of Indigenous population the the US was also killed off .. the list goes on.

Getting married 4 times is not an achievement for Indian muslim community lol - frankly, it needs to be outlawed. Polygamy may be illegal for other religions, though rare is still practiced. Dharmendra converted to Islam only so that he could marry Hema Malini legally. Had he not been a star, he could have done that without converting. No one imposes it unless the first spouse complains. IDK where you are getting these Pak women being raped daily, sounds like something off WhatsApp - because I know a lot of them personally - Christians and Hindu Pakistanis who went to school with me in the Middle East (Indian school) and never had these rape stories. There maybe few cases but them getting raped daily? Really? Also a lot of people did migrate some years after 1947 to India (some of my relatives as well, with the help of some muslim friends. Yes, sometimes people did help each other!)

As for child marriage and minor being sold off/ married to old men - its an issue where poverty and lack of education thrives. As for the war in Syria and the terror groups- they are also killing Muslims who follow different sects/ ideologies.

Your wish has been fulfilled. Now don't get greedy and wish for some more. I can only give so much. My blood is precious.

Whether it's a good reply or not is not just yours to judge. According to me it's a very good reply but ur sensibilities may see it otherwise. Not my fault.
