Basically the trailer was smart enough to hide all those things that faced criticism during the teaser release such as the bears or vanars, Raavan look. From the ending look of Saif, looks like they had not changed his look but just hide him to lure people into watching it at the theatres

300 Cr+ in Hindi should be a cakewalk.

This is so much better than the teaser ….like someone said they seem to have cleverly hidden things or maybe they went and reworked on a whole bunch of things

Most vfx trailers are initially underwhelming and look amazing onscreen so I’m gonna give this the benefit of doubt …the story is very close to my heart so I’ll watch it for the retelling 👍🏼

I wish they got some known / popular actors to play hanuman and laxman tho…especially hanuman given it’s such a crucial powerful mass hero type character …would have been so much fun ..this cgi face wala hanuman is not giving me the feels ..

Anyways , I commend them for not giving up after all that trolling and doing their best to make things better ….someone else would have crumbled in the face of all that criticism ..

Watched it - on the bigest TV screen I found in the house 😉

It's definitely a movie to watch in theatres in a good quality. BGM and VFX impressive (not so much the pace and the light throughout the majority of the trailer).

I hope the movie will not lose itself in actors' heroics through too much slow motion.

I really want a good rendition of this inherently Indian epic. 😊 ...and no qualms when the box-office is surpassing Pathaan's...it has become - according to the Bushans & other producers & Wikipedia - a quasi 700 cr movie - against the 450 crore of Brahmastra and the 250 crore of Pathaan - which is more than 85 million US dollar... I just try to imagine this sum...

I might be in the minority here but I still didn't like it.🤔 Esp. Prabhas' voice.... it isn't a Prabhu Ram voice IMO. But it could be entirely my issue lol, somehow I haven't really found good visually representing mytho characters (or even Mr. Darcy for that matter🫣), exception has only been Mohit Raina as Mahadev..... Anyways, I found Kriti surprisingly good as Maa Janaki. Like someone said they've cleverly hidden and overdone few things. Let's see, hope it's not a let down...👍🏼

Certainly not T-Series and the Bushans ... they hired the same VFX company that made the Brahmastra VFX watch-worthy (with the Indian Prime Focus Company figuring in the credits, again).

However, I guess that the London-based DNEG will 'swallow' Indian Prime Focus as they have just published a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding = Gentleman Agreement) to acquire the Indian company (on 13th of April).

This business move is open to speculation but I guess, it's simply a money issue...(during Brahmastra DNEG signed a 'collaboration contract' with Prime Focus and Dharma...and somehow I suppose that they sniggered at the fact, that the movie's story - and things outside the VFX - didn't match the investment.

The teaser had me fuming. Trailer wasn't as cringe.

Not super impressed, but not annoyed either.

I'd still say Gurumeet was the best as Lord Sri Ram. His body language, his voice, body , lotus eyed, natural grace , lean structure and also that theheraav were something else.

But still will absolutely watch this movie in the halls. After all, this is about one of the two most beautiful and important books ever written in the history of mankind. Story of man and God and joy they come together, both on Earth and heaven and in one body as one.

it’s not just about dishing out money

Fighting a bad first impression and negative public perception is a huge uphill task …projects that have had delays in the past have had strong negative word of mouth ..and this one started off on the wrong foot, released a press note to say they were gonna fix things and delayed the project …..

The fact that they somewhat managed to turn it around with this trailer is a huge deal give adipurush and it’s vfx was trolled all of last year pretty much …

This one looks much more promising now. Definitely deserves a dekho at the theaters. Always game for a good rendition of both Ramayan and Mahabharata.
