Shiv doesn't look the type who can get manipulated so easily... He can see through his mother's manipulations. When he came to know that the guard had gone to Mumbai he instantly figured out its something related to him and even when Rani ma tried to convince him he taunted her and left for Mumbai without caring for the ceremony or anything. He loves his mom but definitely hates the way she tries to control his life. So I am hoping he stands up to her and refuses point blank when she talks of the proposal.

I don't want hin to say yes and leave Swati at the roka or marriage. It wouldn't look good on his character to do that to any woman.
