No one is saying this, of course men should be dressed properly as well.
But there is a difference in a man's body and in a woman's body they cannot be judged in a exact same way, they are Equal but different.
that's the point fake feminists are unable to grasp
See there the problem lies, the context of Salman’s statement is somewhat legit in a general scenario, you won’t see majority of the women are being indecent on streets, because I’m sure that more than Salman, these women themselves have bigger concern for their own safety and reputation and especially when they live in a country like India.
However Salman’s statement sounds stupid now because, he himself promotes Munnis and Jumme ki raat hai type of songs, it’s not that his heroines don’t wear low necklines, and it’s not like covering necklines will completely stop harassment and objectification of women, in that case only way to protect women from men in general is to cast males as female leads which I’m sure with the kind of talent and back to back 100 cr movies Salman can pull off.
And lastly, in cinema especially in India the songs, romantic sequences and many more stuff mostly revolve around a women’s body if the female lead gets notices atleast for a brief period of time, that’s why Oo Antava or Munni baaadnam were the most popular songs in the country, so if actors say that they want to cover the women and also earn from their body circus, then all they’re spewing is hypocrisy which I’m sure every celebrity have in them, Salman is just too arrogant and damn care to show it off as he knows it doesn’t damage his already misogynistic image anymore.
