Alone
Enjoying coffee alone
At a coffee shop.
You get uncomfortable stares
Just you don't stop.
Keep your head high
They haven't been in your shoes.
It is your life
To do as you choose.
Bffs to strangers
Fake friends and betrayal.
Others know not
How it was so painful.
Just as in birth,
Alone in the coffin.
People must be reminded of it
Every so often.
So have fun in your own company,
Be your own person.
You don't have to listen
To any sermon.
You are resilient
You are tough.
You have yourself
And that is more than enough.
Being alone doesn't mean
You're lonely
Everyone shall learn it
Slowly but surely.
