I feel Samia is the mastermind.

Either she is having affair with Mujib and wants to destroy his legacy and family so that he is left with only her. Or she could be Mujib's illegitimate daughter who wants to eliminate Daniyal.

The mothers are innocent I think. They are suffering from the side effects of having bad husbands I guess. Mujib didnt treat his wife well. It was evident as she is taking anti depressant. Ayla's mom was abandoned by her Dad.
