We would love to revive this forum with your permission, Vijay 😳. If you will allow me and DreamofEndless to moderate. Thanks very much!
I have loved western music ever since I started exploring it sometime during my teens. From the era of 60s/70s, I love Beatles, Pink Floyd, MJ, EP.. to name a few. Sharing some of my favourite songs, based on my current mood :) (When list of favourites is long, mood becomes a factor in making further choices 😆)
Paperback Writer by The Beatles

Things I do for You by The Jacksons

Arnold Layne by Pink Floyd

P.S. I agree this era had the most meaningful music. The songs, even the ones with seemingly playful lyrics, had deeper meaning behind them. I wasn't even alive during the 60s/70s, yet the tone of their music and the lyrics is enough to stir a sweet nostalgia into the past (where I wasn't even born), in my imagination. Such quality of music is only seen in best musicians of this era.
Yup, they're really good! Pink Floyd!!
Please post 3 or less links in one post so the songs get embedded 😳
Beautiful song 🥹 Sheer expression of nostalgia!
I am aware of this about video embedding. But I couldn't bring myself to eliminate one song among the 4 songs 🙈

The Beatles are GOAT!
Pink Floyd: Arnold Layne! Wow! Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett and minus Syd Barrett was like two different bands right? Piper at the Gates of Dawn is still my fav PF album.
