One more thing I have to add. He has also had a relatively short career as an actor getting good movies. It is also this year he started to get a lot of movies. With the talent he has I am sure he will make a mark in all genres.

Also he has a very pivotal role in Dhunki!

It's actually an honour for Vicky to play the part! I hope they do justice to the legend.

Yup, and Aditya Dhar once put out a statement he can not imagine an Ashwhattama without Vicky Kaushal. The film without him is out of the question. They are very close after the success of URI.

Sports biopics rarely work. Especially those about sportsmen from decades ago with whom the current gens don't have much familiarity. Wasn't that a big reason why 83 tanked? I don't know why Bollywood won't stop beating that dead horse.

But well if it's happening then I know Vicky will nail it. I can only hope the movie works and is done well.

Remember M.S. Dhoni? Poor SSR they stated it only worked due to the popularity of M.S. Dhoni. The truth was he was excellent in it.

Yes from my knowledge that was the last sports biopic that did well... and that's saying so much, but Bollywood chooses to ignore. SSR was amazing in it, that is true, he did his research and training extensively and it showed, but it is also true that the movie did as well as it did a great deal because of Dhoni's current popularity. His fans happily went to watch a movie about their current favorite cricketer. Of course it was a well made movie too.

Cricket is a lot more popular land commercialized in India then hockey. But I think it shows if a sports biopic is well-made and has great acting it will work. With Vicky, we can be sure he will take care of the great acting part. He just seems to be doing A LOT of movie rights now. So I hope he gets time to do his research as well as SSR did. He literally stalked M.S. Dhoni for months. To the point, even M.S. Dhoni was a little creeped out. But that just shows how honest and committed an actor he was.

Not to mention he has a whole bunch of romantic films coming out this year? He is working with Sara and Tripti. He is also working in a family drama with Manushi Chillar. And I have a strong reason to believe he is still in Ashwhattama playing a superhero. Many from the industry, involved in the project, have been dropping huge hints on social media.

I am most excited to for his work in Sam Bahudar with Meghna Gulzar. She really extracted the best from him in Raazi. This time the entire film is centered around him. Last time it was centered around Aloo!

That's fair. However, regardless of what he does, I am sure he will do justice to the role.

I hope so. It will be good to see him branch out and get some really good roles.

That's great. India's highest award for lifetime achievement in sports is the Dhyan Chand Award. He is

one of the greatest field hockey players in history. He was known for his extraordinary ball control and goal-scoring feats.

Surely Vicky will do justice on playing the role. Hope he practices holding the stick and hitting the ball. Not everything is about special effects.
