ZEE TV is set to launch a new musical weekend show, which will be the first to combine singing and dancing talents from various TV shows.

The show titled 'Ek Se Badkar Ek' will feature eight pairs - comprising of a singer and a dancer. The singer will earn points by his/her singing talent and the dancer gaining points based on his/her dancing skills. The show will be judged by a panel of two celebrities (TBC).

Taking part in the show as singers will be Sumedha Karmahe (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge), Poonam Jadav (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge), Meenal Jain (Indian Idol), Raja (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge) and Aneek (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge). The dancers list consists of Shweta Tiwari, Jasveer Kaur, Sai Deodhar, Karishma Tanna, Jay Bhanushali, Sachin Shroff, Apurva Agnihotri and Indraneil Sengupta.

Whilst a show host is to be confirmed, rumours are rife that 'Saagar' from ZEE TV's hit soap 'Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann' - Sharad Malhotra will present it. Sumit Raghavan is also favourite to bag the presenting role.

'Ek Se Badkar Ek' will run for ten weeks starting Saturday 7th June at 10 pm
