When I watch episode 12 and they talked. I found it to be a combination of the sweet unforgettable palpitating feeling I got watching dastan as a very young girl and later when I found dhoop kinare.
It was a combination of classic urdu novel like feeling and a little bit of a Bollywoody touch (I generally don't like it but the little touch of it just worked). I don't like srks acting that much but he's iconic. This combo and the scenes from 12 gave me a veer zara kind of vibe. Larger than life but subtle which is the beauty of urdu content. It was just right. Not too much there or here. Just like goldilocks. I started thinking wow this is it. It's going to be epic. That was my mistake and little did I know 😭
