I agree. Pet birds should be let free too, every once in a while out of their cages. I have had budgies since years, the previous ones used to play outside all the time because they got familiar with the surroundings. The current ones feel safer inside the cage, I once let them out and they panicked. They didnāt even know how to land on the floor. They were flying in a frenzy everywhere and since I have a lot of furniture stocked in my room I got scared that they would hurt themselves, it took me about 2 hours to get them back inside the cage since they couldnāt find their way there š. But they are so adorable and friendly, especially the male, he is very cuddly ā¤ļøOriginally posted by: vibecheck
they are living happy lives š¤ they only go in their cages at night to sleep because they feel safe there. other than that, they are out and about in the room and can fly around and do whateva. i don't believe in getting birds and then trimming their wings and keeping them locked up in a cage. it's horrible to do that to them.
