Venky should be MoM today. That century was brilliant 🥺

No one from MI's team performed exceptionally... they worked as a whole, like a well-oiled machine

But Venky as a player was exceptional 🥺 he deserves the MoM ❤️

The Mumbai Indians do a lap around the field, waving flags and soaking in all the applause from the crowd. Zaheer Khan and Parthiv Patel, who were presenting, have been pulled in by the players as well. They are former MI players and have been a part of their support staff as well and MI's family values continue to be on display.

This is the worst thing you can blame Ganguly for

Talking about Spade after blaming him for such big things with no proof.

If you think this is the reason

I won't talk anymore

What did I blame him for? Really what did you infer from my post? I am not blaming him for anything apart from having it out for Virat and screwing up the team in the process. This is well-evidenced btw

Again, Dravid, Raina, Irfan, a lot of the younger lot had no issues with Chappel; Ganguly and his buddies did. Chappel was villainised and Ganguly got to the play the victim. When it probably was fault on both the sides.

Fall-outs between atheletes and coaching staff happens nearly in all the sports. Because good players do not necessarily make good coaches

Saying Virat behaved like the owner of ICT by clashing with Kumble is just ~something~ when a lot of other players had issues with him too. They both dealt with it with grace and class. Npt something everyone has

Virat gave up the captaincy; and we are still here lol.

What else could he have done?

Suryakumar Yadav (Mumbai Indians captain):

That's what we had a chat in our dugout about. We just had to carry the momentum from the last game. The guys went out and put on a show. I would have loved to finish the game but never too late. Very happy with how things went. In the afternoon we thought the wicket was a little dry but the way the guys batted, it settled down in the evening. And if you see in the evening at Wankhede, 180-190 is chaseable. Ishan batted brilliantly and got off to an amazing start. The way he batted, we needed that first punch in the powerplay and we got it. (On his form) I relaxed and had an easy walk to the wicket, took my time for the first 5-7 balls. And then I thought if I get my eye in I can take it forward.

(On the firepower in the form of Tim David and Cameron Green) Absolutely, we just need to bat smart in the first 7-10 overs and later on we know what kind of firepower we have. We just did the same thing today and hopefully we carry it forward into the next few games. (On Piyush Chawla) That was a legendary spell. Every time he put his hand up and told me to give him the ball.
