Shizan and Tunisha were in a relationship, and they broke up. Imagine being vilified for something like that! Yes, she was depressed and killed herself, but we really need to stop blaming their partners (here, ex partner) for choices someone makes as an adult.

Tunisha was responsible for herself. Shizan had all rights to choose not to be in her life. As she was an adult , not even her parents could have done anything other than help with mental health counselling.

Breaking up with someone is no grounds for abetment to suicide. But over this, Shizan was publicly shamed, jailed for months, had a media trial and lost his job! That’s really a horrific punishment for not wanting a relationship, a choice many of us make multiple times in our lives.

Initially getting serious in relationship and then making an excuse of religious differences and age is prove that poor girl was used by this guy who already had girlfriends....
