Hera Pheri was never a clean hit. AAA was not even released properly. Both became popular on T.V. and DVD later.

Aamir himself spoke on how AAA kept getting delayed and never got proper release and no one knew when it came and went.

Agneepath is AB's one of finest works.

I thought it was blasphemy to remake it or have anyone else play Vijay. I like HR but Amitabh is Amitabh and no one else suits such roles as he does.

I agree. Amitabh at his prime was something else.

IKR. Hrithik was good in the sequel but just compare him to Amitabh in the original and you would see the difference. His swag, voice, screen presence, everything about him is unmatched 🔥❤️.

His eyes. His eyes were bloodshot and conveyed pain and anguish of character so well.

Also his effortless swag, screen presence, kickass voice and dialogue delivery and body language.

The way he stands in motor boat on way to Kancha's island is stylish AF and so are his one liners or his epic intro in police station too.

Amitabh is Amitabh. No one compares to him.

Others doing his films makes it look like kids trying to wear dad's shoes and coat for fun or trying mom's lipstick for first time. The more people remake his classics, the more you realise what he has that others do not. No one compares to him. Amitabh was like, born to act. Effortlessly heroic persona onscreen, amazing voice and command over language and a very controlled body language. In Agneepath videos on YouTube we all admit in comments that he has more manly aura and swag than many heroes with 8 pack abs and gym bodies can never project onscreen. Amitabh looks like a real hero, even without having a gym body.

Calm down fam ✋🏼 I liked the movie because the premise of an angry cop falling for a sheltered spiritual girl was appealing. Not because of that one scene that stole your raaton ke neend.

yes I know all about AAA release, it was released without much publicity due to the issues with distribution BUT was properly released over all of the centres and was well awaited by the cinegoers.

The main point here I am trying to make is that it did 8 crore plus business over 2 crore plus investment which makes it a semi hit at boxoffice even in the cinemas that time of it's original release, and the semi hit status of it was reported by most sources that time in magazines, tabloids and film trade reports, and also at ibosnetwork. Com in the digital age(except for boxoffice India).

Yes it's a well known fact that AAA got cult status over the years, but still it was a semi hit even in 1994 in it's theatrical release contrary to what most falsely believe that its boxoffice status is a flop, which is not the case.

Hera pheri did 20 crore business over 7 crore investment and was not a flop by any means which you posted in your reply.

So far it looks boring and SRK is having a Brad Pitt hangover. And it has Suhana, the worst actress ever to hit the industry. What do you think?...
