But I don't think Pakhi used what happened in her past against her as such right? She spoke more about the fact that after her facing such a horrible tragedy, Anupama was the one who stood up for her and helped her. The emphasis was more on the fact that Anupama had done so much for her and fought against the world for her, but here she was saying the academy's reputation was getting ruined because of Anupama.

Makers give a very sad past to these characters, Maya and Dimpy, and then turn them into villains further reinforcing horrible regressive stereotypes, it's disgusting, but I hope that isn't translated into actual dialogues on the show where they say "iss type ki ladki" in that sense. I assumed Pakhi meant such a greedy and selfish ladki (based on how she was behaving at the moment) and not referring to her as that due to her past. Hope I'm correct because otherwise that's stooping too low even for them 😕

There are so many people, audience like old hag have thinking ki aisi ladkiyon ki help karni hi nahi chahiye. Yeh aisi hi hoti hai. Even today, if a girl has bf, bekaar ladki hai like comments are heard.

What is meant by aisi ladkiyaan, aisi aurat.. Makers are doing nothing but ruining image of every woman. Can't a journey be shown without demeaning other person everytime.

I believe a person like dimpy who goes through such trauma is so vulnerable or depressed ki woh doosre ka boora kya hi sochenge. Their life comes to normalcy or not, when, how... Difficult to say and understand.

During dimpy track, everybody was praising.. What a social msg.. This is the social message. It's same like iske saath aisa hua bcoz yeh khud aisi hogi..

In this show, there is only one woman who is satayi hui and needs sympathy. Ek hi hai mahanta ki murat, baaki sab mei surpnakha ki seerat.

sorry to say but after Anupama helping that Dimpy so much, literally endangering the lives of her children for that ungrateful ass, then ppl will naturally think ki that such type of girls are not worth helping,if she doesn't want to hear"Is type ki ladki " comments then she shouldn't behave like that type of ladki.

Exactly.. first they will butcher their titular character beyond redemption and when people criticize her..they will bring another female character with a tragic backstory and make them evil so that the titular character looks like a saint in front of them. The tragedy that Dimpy went through would make anyone numb but here she is ready for another marriage and that too with a Shah

A person like Maaya won't even look at Anuj but to justify Maa's actions she has been made a husband snatcher. Even a woman who has suffered as much as Anupama won't accept anyone in her life that soon. First, they will make her say disgusting dialogue and then for damage control slaughter everyone else. 😡

Leave aside Dumpy, all of a sudden Makkhi and Pigtosh are the ones who have become Maa defenders and Samar?? Dumpy is just the latest character to be sacrificed at the altar of mahaanta ki murat but devious DKP keep forgetting that when they introduced these characters with a traumatic backstory like Dimpy, Maaya etc, the subsequent effect of turning them negative is not solely limited to their actions, though that's the only basis on which they should be judged.

As a normal viewer i interpreted it as "ehsaan faramosh ladki n greedy" n not rape victim ladki..there was no talk of her character there..

Because dimpy was all like "my dance academy" when in fact she is just a mere employee. Just because owner doesn't come for few days she can't claim the academy. And when family leaves in tough times n outsider support, ppl r obliged for life but dimpy behaving like a typical vamp bahu..

Im amazed samar still wants to marry her after she showed her true colors. After marriage she will claim shah house too

Exit plan for Dimple's character? I mean don't see any other reason for this track.

Out of nowhere the cheerleader turns protester? I can understand her feelings left out among the anmol ratna even annoyed of others' interference but this?

Point was that the characters randomly flipping just doesn't make sense. Instead of being grateful to Anupamaa and trying to solve whatsoever issues they are facing in a better way, she wants to takeover the dance academy.

My problem is when the makers flip characters where they have shown an elaborate backstory and past trauma where Anupama took a stand, suddenly have to become negative to glorify the same Anupama for lack of better things to show. While in this conversation it was about being thankless, a person like Pakhi who has character assassinated her own mother on several occasions can't be trusted to not go low and obviously she'll walk away with zero consequences.

Samar character has become spineless. Again a side character not making sense because he should have been on Anupamaa's side. Anyway, Dimpy is untrustworthy and if she is eventually going to be outrightly negative, it'll be great to see her trouble shameless shahs.

The message they show when they write such tracks is - kisi ladki ki help nahin karni chahiye. This is so so wrong.

Whether maaya or Dimpy, the makers want to say that if you help a girl who has been raped, she'll come into your home and steal your husband, steal your business therefore reinforcing the sick idea ki 'aisi ladkiyan kisi ghar ka hissa nahin bann sakti'... And pushing the idea that these 'characterless' girls got what they deserved

What disgusting writing is this????

The kind of person Pakhi was, normally you'd definitely think that's what she meant. But since every character flips with each episode, taking her at face value right now, it felt like her dialogues didn't insinuate that. But definitely wouldn't put it past her otherwise, let's see where this goes
