Who is most responsible for ruining Anupamaa?

This one question probably runs through the minds of Anupama lovers and haters alike.

We all know Anupamaa, the show (and the character) has suffered catastrophic damage in the last few months. Be it the ridiculous writing, the shoddy direction or the crappy execution, the show has taken a hit on all fronts and sadly there’s not much that can be done to salvage it.

No matter how many ‘new udaans’ they plan, it will not make a difference unless they actually acknowledge where they went wrong and genuinely feel the need to make a change.

For that to happen, they will first need to stop promoting it as a progressive show on women empowerment when it does nothing for the cause. But we know it aint gonna happen and we will be watching and trolling it the same in 2030.

For now I wanna know what you think is the main factor that contributed to its failure among sensible audiences, for the rest(TRP people) its become a habit, a bad one.

Only one person is to blame

The one who had made the show go on top initially was Anupama herself, and the one to ruin it beyond repair is also AnupaMAA.

Though I came to love Anuj more, but he was more of icing on the cake.

When you can't connect to your female lead anymore, there is no scope for the show honestly.

Can't really blame the cast here. Even the script writers or other crew beyond a point so R*j**ji is the problem methinks. 🤣

If you're asking within the domain of Anupamaverse, I'm more inclined to blame all of them but if we have to select one person it would be the most malevolent Dukhmukh, closely followed by the spicebox herself.

Dawn Valley Kolez because Anooj saw her here and decided to make her his, 26 years later in the college reunion, he tricked her chappal and made it slide towards him thereby creating a prominent hurdle in her udaan. Without proper chappal how do you expect her to fly😒

If it is the character we are talking about I'd say Shahs especially the Dusthmukh before her divorce with Vanaar Raj and nobody but herself in the second inning of her life..

If it is the Show we are talking about, the writers and even the TRP audience who lap upto the female lead's sufferings, mahaanta and floodgates. However, the second time around the sufferings were self inflicted, the mahaanta was convoluted outcome of self victimization and the floodgates didn't tugged at the heartstrings because it couldn't trounce the mockery made of mental health among many other atrocities..
