She was not sidelined in 2012 but after reports of affair with SRK picked steam post Don 2.

Anushka was main lead in Dil ko dhadakne do. PC was not. She was paired opposite Rahul. Made sister of Ranveer. Deepika was main lead of Bajirao. PC was supporting role. She stole the show purely on basis of acting.

Being given side roles and media hounding her and losing big ads was sort of low phase and big stars like Akshay, Khans, HR were not really working with her post 2013.

Wow PC shouldn’t have done that

She's talented and got enough sizeable roles, appreciation and adulation from her colleagues and the audience. A bit opportunistic of her to just focus on the negative points to score points with her new industry.

A bit like what Taapsi did to the South film industries. I saw one of Taapsi's Tamil films today. She's awful and couldn't even properly lip sync. Did she expect them to hand out sizeable roles for that level of acting?

And I'm being charitable here. Baradwaj Rangan almost literally eviscerates her in the review of the film Vandhaan Vendraan. To be fair she has improved a lot. But at that time she was just worth being the pearly-white arm candy.

Well she was also bullying a co-actor using Shahrukh's name n clout. Movie was Gunday co-actor was Ranveer Singh. Though they later reconciled and went into work together in two more movies the initial vibes were way off.
