This is an amazing shirt. And it represents something much bigger here. The holes in the front are big enough for you to put your head through or arm through. So you don't have to wear this shirt in the traditional way. Just insert your head or arm in whichever hole feels right. This is symbolic of society's rules and us following them. This shirt represents that we do not have to wear it the way society wants us to. There are many ways to do something and we can pick what feels right to us. 👍🏼

There are 8 prominent holes, if we consider those black dots as hole too then there are 10-12 holes.

But please i wanna suggest the person who owns this shirt, he/she needs to stitch it or throw it in a garbage, otherwise who's gonna wear this much airy (hawadaar) shirt.

Like Silpa, I would say 6:

the hole for the head shows me, that the shirt is white inside...(nothing suggests that the two holes on the front go through the whole shirt).

EDIT: If I'm mistaken and the shirt is - colourwise - inside like outside, then 8 is correct, because the background is white (I think, it's not a clear example...this would have been a clearer one:
