DC have won! They have wrapped up the chase inside 18 overs. They were off to a brisk start but lost a few wickets in the middle overs for the game to drift into the 18th over. Ismail came up with an inspired spell but UP never had enough runs to play with.

UP Warriorz have a few days off to contemplate their performance in a lackluster effort today and find a way to get their energy back for the playoff eliminator against Mumbai Indians. The winner of that will face Delhi Capitals in the final.

UP Warriorz captain Alyssa Healy: "We're giving an opportunity for some players to rest. We had a good crack tonight but we were not good enough in all three facets of the game and we need to fix some things before Friday. [On Ismail] She got a few wickets for us and gave us a sniff but we kept letting ourselves down. It wasn't easy batting conditions so we thought if we could get to 140 or 145, we were in with a shot. We just didn't bowl well at the front. Hopefully we reflect on what didn't go as well tonight and what we need to improve on. We'll probably have tomorrow off and have a good training on Thursday."

Jess Jonassen: Was cool that it went to the final day. Huge advantage to finish at the top of the table. We will be sitting back and watching who we will be coming up against. We were pretty far away off tonight as well. But pleasing to get the result. I think we have bundles of international experience. We have got some incredible talent. We have had a family atmosphere. We have been playing for each other. The games have been rapid. We have had little time to rest. We should be ready come the final.

Meg Lanning: Just wanted the team to win and help the unit. I don't think we were at our best. We were sloppy on the field. Was a reasinable wicket. We got off to a flier and helped us when it started to turn. It seemed it came nicely with the new ball. They bowled a fair bit of spin towards the back end. We got some depth in batting. We have one big game to go. Hopefully, we will nail that. We will rest for a couple of days before the big game.

Alice Capsey, Player of the Match: Played a different innings yesterday, which was fun. But took some responsibilty today. At number 3. it is about taking on the bowlers. Tried to stay calm under pressure. The duel with Sophie was superb. She is the world number 1 for a reason. First final of the WPL and that is exciting.
