Going through some twitter threads during my me-time today, I've encountered far too much petty comments and also mocking the Hindi filmindustry and especially SRK.
I don't understand this as everybody who has an open mind knows about the good vibes SRK has with people from other filmindustries (and they with him).
They also - unnecessarily - assert that he never got the chance (which isn't right). India twice submitted a movie with SRK, Devdas and Paheli (letter was a RedChillies production), but both weren't nominated.
2007 there was a controversy about the submitted movie (V.V.Chopra's Eklavya), where Chopra adopted the wrong tone relative to the 2005 submission of Paheli. (The result: no SRK in a Hirani movie as long as Hirani worked with V.V.Chopra, so no 3 Idiots, no PK as Hirani still felt thankful to Chopra because of having produced the Munnabhai movies.)
