Let's assume Maya is not a fraud and genuinely cares about CA. The possibilities of her meeting another weirdo like Anuj is too low so no more distractions.

Without Anuj realising, give him a robot look-alike of CA who is programmed to say "Yayiieee" every 5 minutes. Nobody will know the difference.

Anuj happy. Anupama happy. Robot is robot.

Shah family can be Shah family with us having no fears of a child being trained to serve abusers.

Shah family happy.

Very true! I knew one such couple in my community growing up. Who lost their only child to gun death. The mother had her tube tied after her son’s birth 16 years earlier. After the son’s death. The mother was obsessed with having a child to replace the one lost.

Husband stuck around for two years but he ended up leaving her. He told my father he could not deal with what they had become as a couple since his son’s death.
The mother told my mom, that having another child was the only way she would stay alive. She killed herself from what I hear few years later.

Side note: Since you mentioned this, would you have seen the movie 'Rabbit Hole'? It deals with a couple losing their young child in an accident and how it affects them. Aamir Khan's Talaash also has a similar sub plot

I don't know about Choti Anu being the glue to the Anupama-Anuj marriage. I am not concluding anything.

I guess Choti Anu's adoption was Anuj's dream of a complete family and a means to let Anupama "move on" froma toxic household. Which never happened thanks to her wanting sab sab sab.

Let's put it this way:

Anupama could care less for Choti Anu when:

1. She had accompanied her for a Christmas getaway and left her with a sleeping Kinjal and an infant in a broken car in the middle of the road merely days after the Dimple incident when the case was sub-judise.

2. Leela repeatedly abused her in front of Shahs and Kapadias. Infact ALL she could say was a soft "Baa" and on the contrary stop Barkha and others from voicing/calling them out.

3. Leave her with a critically injured, recovering, wheelchair bound, Anuj days after his discharge from a major mishap.

4. Forget to fill up Choti Anu's forms for her school assignment.

5. Miss her Dance competition.

6. Did not bother speaking to Choti Anu when she was on a forced picnic on NYE.

Inspite of Anuj's call-outs to Anupama atleast 3 times that Choti Anu needs time and that Choti Anu is very important to him.

In today's episode too, Choti Anu mentioned that she stayed up so long to say Goodbye but they never returned soon enough.

She did not realise, cherish or value her life with Anuj and Choti Anu.

When did she start being available for Choti Anu and for that matter, Anuj?

When she had a threat/competition in Maaya.

When Anupama said, she is free now and Anuj replied that now he was busy.

No! Losing a child affect people a lot differently. Not having your own family is a deal breaker for so many couples. My younger sister is going through this now. She wants kids. Her husbands can’t. Will not even go for treatment or even consider adopting. She cry’s daily. Fights with him daily.

This show is make believe but the pain of losing a child/wanting a child is real for so many out there.

There was a daytime actor here in USA, who lost his son and after few years of dealing with his death he killed himself, five years ago. Left behind a wife and two daughters. He had more kids, wife, parents, a family to live for but losing his child was too much to deal with.😢

Yes, that's what the movie is about as well. How both parents are affected differently and take to different ways to cope with the loss
