What if they think Meerab went back to Karachi to Waqas and Anila, but she doesn't actually. She is that egoistic and hurt enough, to not actually go to their house, after they didn't open the door on her.

They can know after several days that she's actually missing and not at her foster father's house. That's the only logical reason that explains why meerab is not at Waqas' home in the bts.

Wakas-anila and murtu not knowing meerab is not with either of them for atleast a month is fine but if the child thing is true meerab will be away for atleast an year and it is very unrealistic if both the parties are under the impression meerab is with one of them.

It was never that simple a case with these two from their very first meeting we were shown. He rightfully grabs the danda and takes her away, even then in the presence of a father figure. It's striking how correct Murtasim was when he said to Anwer, 'she's my wife first, and then your daughter'. Logically, you'd be like, what is this man high on? Remember Haya's dialogue saying that whenever she visits, Murtasim gets upset. They were always more to each other, even when they disliked it. A third person hardly held a chance. What do you think, would Murtasim have accepted if they got Meerab married to someone else, like he advised? Would he still be able to grab her hands, drag her away, fight with her, had they set her up with someone else?

Meerab never misses to point out in Haya's case that she is degrading herself in her quest to attain Murtasim and this is where Murtasim's judgment seems to be failing. Obviously, he is a man, afterall. But Meerab, the woman, is able to sense the love/obsession Haya has with her husband and it isn't some ordinary infatuation. She specifically says, 'Mujhe zara nahi pasand uski nazar tumhare liye'. A good point, honestly. As his wife, her antennas are up. She can sense trouble from Haya's end if Murtasim keeps leading her on, even under the context of sympathy.

About the slap, I have the same thoughts over it. It's wrong and in a realistic sense, I completely disapprove it, no, it shouldn't have happened at all. But what cannot be ignored is that the slap changed Murtasim's approach towards Meerab. It softened him, more than anything else. It is like, after that, he made up a memo in his mind on how to deal with her and the lines he should never cross.

I am curious about his reaction over the Rohail issue too. It's almost unpredictable, on how will he react at the thought of another man in her life. Will he go a rampage and participate in putting her character down or will he be that ideal partner, who believes in settling matters within closed doors? The possessiveness is obviously going to amplified, it's hardly anything subtle with these two.

Yes that is why I hesitate to call this trash romance because there is still enough layers, enough depth to have some fun discussions. A writer doesn't reveal all their secrets we can interpret how we want, that is half the fun.

The only scene we get for how he would react if a third person came in between them was the birthday incident. Murtasim turned into a mad bull dog when Rohail grabbed her hands to stop her. It was similar to when Anwar grabbed his arm to stop him from dragging her away, he will not stand for it. You don't know what you have until you lose it. He never lost her because her marriage was never fixed with anyone else, but it was fixed with him and even though he kept saying I won't marry her his actions kept saying she is mine. His feelings are more apparent after his engagement was announced. He doesn't storm to his mom to say no i won't marry her, he goes to gather his thoughts privately and what is ringing in his ears is that she doesn't respect him. His reason to refuse the marriage is because he is remembering what she thinks of him, not what he thinks of her. So he is prioritizing her wishes above his and refuses the marriage. Isn't that a sign of someone in love when their priority is what does she think about me, not what I think about her.

We have to wait for this rohail track to see if they will explore the past with Murtasim. Will it be she was always mine or will it be she is mine now. I don't think he will put her character down just because she has a male friend. The cornerstone of Murtasim love for Meerab is that she is MY MEERAB, he is very proud of her, even his taunts you are badtameez is his way of saying you are my badtameez and I love you for it. The only time he insults her before marriage is when he says she is not worth it to marry, calling into question her character but we know he didn't mean it. In anger they have called each other names, but I repeat myself, deep down they always held each other in high esteem and have high expectations from each other. Meerab expecting Murtasim to neutralize Haya ASAP because he should know better, Murtasim motivating her in their marriage to put aside her pettiness and rise to the challenge as he knows she is capable of doing great things in her new position. I don't know want to see that respect torn to shreds. In any great love story respect is important. Who is going to take on the bigger blame let wait and see how the plot unfolds, yes it won't be subtle. She will bark, he will get angry, and we will watch.

Yes I think that will happen she could leave the house and they could all wrongly assume she is gone to her foster parents home. Murtasim won't be bothered in his anger to check up on her assuming she is in a safe place, but by the time he figures it out it will be too late she is lost.
