I am so glad someone is talking about the writer's interview. I saw it yesterday but no one on the forum was discussing it. I felt soo left out 😅
I loved the interview. Thousand times better than the director's interview. And you guys are right. I too found the writer to be a fun and chill person. She has based the gaddi ka janasheen aspect on her own family. So she understands this world much better.
Everything she said about Meerab made sense. She has a friend who found she was adopted later in life. She has a cousin who underwent forced marriage. So clearly she is not making up plots in thin air. She is using what she has seen around her and then dramatizing it. No wonder the show is such a hit. I absolutely loved her explanation of the contract. The security aspect makes so much more sense than ego or revenge.
And her love for Murtasim is on par with our love for Murtu 😂😂😂 From his shawl to his righteousness to his mohabbat, she is total fida on her own character. It was very cute to see. Also love how she talked about her husband and his support. It is clear that she has a happy marriage and some of those aspects have been written in Murtasim's character as well.
2 things that made me curious -
Murtasim has also gone through some pain or heartbreak. It seems he was given the role of janasheen suddenly out of the blue. I am now very interested in his backstory.
She said "aap logo ko contract se itni problem hai, toh aage jo hoga aap kaise dekhoge" 🤔🤔 aisa kya likha hai madam ne?? Uffff the suspense. And it makes you wonder how long the show actually is. It seems there are still so many plots left to see. There can easily be 50+ episodes.
